My mother started me on my life long journey of genealogy when at six years old she would drag me around to various cemetaries in Maine and Massachusetts. Forty-five years later, I'm still going strong and love learning about people and their pasts.

One of my passions is transcribing old documents. In fact this past February 2012 I was made Massachusetts State Coordinator for the US Gen Web Census. The mission of this project is to coordinate a United States census transcription effort by recruiting, guiding, and helping volunteer transcribers. Our goal is to provide free access to Online Research Data for everyone.

In my own genealogy quest I am researching the following families: Sleeper, Googins, Strout, Stetson, Brewster & Alden. Of particular interest are my Mayflower ancestors. I also have over three hundred research/genealogy books with particular interest to Massachusetts and Maine. Drop me a line if you're looking for something or someone, I may have the info. I love to volunteer my time to help someone research their family tree. Hope to hear from you.

I'm also more than happy to transfer memorials to any direct family members. Please use the edit button on the memorial.

If you find any errors please let me know. I want to be as accurate as possible. A big thanks to folks who take the time to send corrections.

There are getting to be a lot of duplicate memorials out there, so please let me know if I have created a duplicate memorial so I may delete it. What's more important is the memorial, not how many we put up.

We can't look to the future without first remembering our past.
