Bio and Links
Bio Photo I served in the Army and Army Reserve for over 25 years with more than 15 years in the public affairs arena.
My experience runs the gamut from working at the U.S. Army Field Station at Camp Humphreys, Korea to running the day-to-day operations of the Press Camp Headquarters at Fort Shafter, Hawaii.
Various positions have included work as a newspaper editor, educational publications, community and media relations, as well as marketing.
For the past three years I have been dedicating time to findagrave.com primarily adding records for my extended family, friends and veterans' and local cemeteries.
Additionally, in late 2012 I completed my application and was accepted into the Daughters of 1812, my first lineage society.

RE: Transcriptions
Mary Ann,
That sounds great! Thank you. BTW I have a few pictures that I'm not finding in FLNC. For example Lester Lee Jr. I created a memorial page for him and uploaded my picture. I'm not sure if that is appropriate or not. I've added other memorial pages for photos taken but not found and the seem to go away. I don't have a problem with it I was just wondering what was happening. -AGS

RE: Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery
Sure thing, I'm enjoying doing it. We had some really nice weather today and I was able to take pictures in Section M. I got the two western most rows that are the closest to Dixie Dr. I am not sure when I will get them uploaded but I will. It seemed to me that there were a lot of markers with out photos in Section M. Thanks for the encouragement. -AGS

Wiegand Family
Thanks for the transfer Mary Ann. I am not related to the Wiegands, but am working with others to post and hopefully link burials at New Cemetery in Somerville. If I have a request from a family member I will transfer the pages on to them.

RE: Masons in Delaware
I personally knew James M. and Catharine when I was young but I don't know how all the others are related. I just found out about his brother, first wife and two sons when I looked them up on Family Search after seeing the gravestone.

RE: Masons in Delaware
Hi Mary Ann,

Thank you for taking the time to honor their memory. My father was friends with them and their families as they were all from the same village in Ireland.

Regards,
Jim McMillan

RE: 3653435
Thanks for the catch. Just corrected it. I took very few pictures yesterday - the windchill got to me. I received my warning order from my wife that she will be leaving New Orleans today and heading to Dallas to see her Daughter and then heading home. It's been a month since she has been down there helping her Dad then her Mother. So it looks like I will be field daying today and tomorrow. At least I have one day of reprieve. Will be glad to see her home again. Will start again on Monday weather permitting. Have a great weekend. I see we have 70% now of the cemetery.

Wingender's tranfer
Hi Mary Ann, Thanks for the transfer of the Wingender's. That was a surprise but I will definitely look after the memorial as they are part of my family. Thanks again, Jen

RE: SECTION B
Thank you very much for the kind comments. I did run into another problem in Sect C. Sarah A Smith's Death Date is wrong on the Headstone. Her date of death was Jan 9, 1929. The date they have on it was her husbands. Looks like the Panthers are moving on in the playoffs. All my teams are out. Take care.
