Bio and Links
Bio Photo Suddenly all my Ancestor's are behind me. "Be Still" they say. "Watch And Listen. You are the result of the Love of Thousands."

Genealogy is my passion. I've researched my family almost 38 years in September 2015. It's been fascinating meeting so many friends during my research in court houses, libraries, cemeteries. I've found we are all searching for the same thing, our roots.

I've worked on Mound Cemetery in Pike Co. for many years. I've taken the time to walk this cemetery, documenting each grave with pictures. I've yet to get some in pictures but it's my wish to see it all done. I'm working on biographies for my memorials. My hope is that Mound Cemetery will someday open like a book, as suggested by Find A Grave for each cemetery. I hope after I'm gone, someone else will take the time to do as I've done with this cemetery. It holds special ties with me in that this is where my loved ones are at rest and where I will be laid to rest. We need to preserve history.

Feel free to use my gravestone photo's. I take them for those whose health prevents them from getting to the cemetery, for those who can't make it because of distance but mostly to preserve history. I won't take pictures if snow is on the ground surrounding the stones. I realize a nice picture on a beautiful clear day is much more favored in the Genealogy world. I take them out of love & respect for those who have passed before us. I try to clean off each stone but if I did them all, I'd never be able to walk! Lol!

The new Edit link is great! Thanks to everyone who are so speedy with my edit requests. Please, before you use this function make sure your info is correct. I've had to change information because of incorrect edits.

I'll transfer unless the request is for my friends or my family. If I've made a duplicate, it wasn't intentional. I'll gladly remove. I'm not perfect but then neither are you. A polite heads up is all that's necessary for me to correct an error.

Please don't post obituaries/bio's to flower/note section or correct me there. Send an Edit & I will make the changes. Find A Grave rule,**Additionally, biographical information and obituaries are not to be included in a virtual flower. Limit flowers to no more than one flower per memorial per day."

RE: Janet Jayjohn
No problem - I was just looking thru them to attach Clara to her children - since, I still have not located her husband.

Are you related this this family? I do not want a transfer - just info on where the husband went.

Kevin Cantrell
Earl Dee Blair Nephew
Hello, my name is Kevin Cantrell and I happened across the memorial that you made for my great uncle, Earl Dee Blair (113423214. He was my Papaw Crate Blair's youngest brother (out of 7 boys!) I was wondering if it would be possible for me to take care of his memorial? If so, I'd really appreciate it. I want to say thank you for taking the time to make his memorial on here, I appreciate it!

ALWAYS good to learn something new. Thanks. Her location has been changed to Evergreen Union 2 Cemetery. Kay

I checked your message. There is only one Evergreen Union Cemetery in Pike Co, Ohio. It's located on St Rt 220 aka Bridge Street. It's possible since she died at home that they put the street name in the obit by mistake. Your picture is on the right memorial and my memorial is listed in the right cemetery. Can't ask for any thing better. Regards.
