Bio Photo Suddenly all my Ancestor's are behind me. "Be Still" they say. "Watch And Listen. You are the result of the Love of Thousands."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Please do not post cut out obituaries from newspapers in the photo section of my memorials. Death certificates are ok but obituaries make memorials look bad. Send the obits. I will post to where they belong. I'm slowly taking them off & putting the obit's in the bio. Find A Grave says no obits in the flower/note section. I would think they would agree on this too. Thank you!
Do not post pictures without my permission to my memorials from Pike/Ross Co. All other counties is fine. Due to recent problems I have to ask this. If I already have pictures, there's no reason to post more of the same. Why duplicate? I have to rearrange photo's I took at Grandview. I will work until every photo has been switched back to the way they were. I'm sorry for the pictures posted to my memorials at Floral Hills, Chillicothe. I didn't take them. I will return to Floral Hills come Spring to retake. If I have to remove them & repost I will. The late Penny Cox Brown was done the exact same way I have been by the same person. The only difference, I'm not sick & I won't put up with it. I'm seriously considering contacting Find A Grave. My husband & I have worked four years of long Summer & Winter days taking pictures at Grandview. I hate the thought of Grandview turning out like Floral Hills. Someone needs to respect the work of others. As most of us practice, we don't duplicate & we respect the hard work of others.
Genealogy is my passion. It has been for 38 years. It's been fascinating meeting so many family & friends. I've found we are all searching for the same thing, our roots. Be kind. The attitudes I've encountered on here amaze me. Thank goodness the good override the bad.
I've worked on Mound Cemetery in Pike Co. for many years. I "WILL NOT" transfer MY memorials for this cemetery. It's taken many years and a lot of time to walk this cemetery, documenting each grave with pictures. I will gladly add any edit's to my memorials but I will not transfer. I'm working on biographies for my memorials. My hope is that Mound Cemetery will someday open like a book, as suggested by Find A Grave. This is where my loved ones are at rest and where I will be laid to rest. I will transfer my memorials for any other cemetery as long as they are not of family or friends.
Feel free to use my gravestone photo's. I take them for those whose health prevents them from getting to the cemetery, for those who can't make it because of distance and to preserve history. I won't take pictures if snow is on the ground surrounding the stones. I realize a nice picture on a beautiful clear day is much more favored in the Genealogy world.
Please, before you use the Edit link make sure your info is correct. I've had to change information because of incorrect edits. I don't submit edits unless I've thoroughly researched & know the information to be correct. I don't submit edits much because I work on my own memorials but if they need linked I will submit an edit.
If I've made a duplicate, it wasn't intentional. I'll gladly remove. I'm not perfect but then neither are you. A polite heads up is all that's necessary for me to correct an error.
Don't post obituaries/bio's to flower/note section or correct me there. Send an Edit. I will make the changes. Per Find A Grave, "biographical information and obituaries are not to be included in a virtual flower."
