Richard H. EBBEN
Stopped in the Allouez Cemetery office at noon today to learn the "exact" location of Richard's marker. Was told he rests in Lot #230 of Section AA. And like most cemeteries I've visited, that is where the SEARCH begins. As you well know, not all records are accurate. Their "really" old material/cheesecloth (or whatever) record showed Lot #230 but not the AA designation. The AA was from their computer search. Their printed maps show Sections AA-H, AA North and AA south. The office ladies were taken aback at the three but felt Richard is in the middle, near a "path", on the north edge of Section AA. The * she drew lies directly north from the Old Chapel in section BB that you might have referred to in your directions. After an hour walking through the snow, I did not find the marker. But, it might be covered by snow. Will go back another day, hopefully in the next two weeks. Are you aware there are five (5) other EBBEN burials in Allouez Cemetery? Kenton

Thank You so much for the cemetery photo.
He is my husband's 1st cousin 2x removed. His mother was my husband's great grand aunt. That finishes up his memorial in our family tree. Thanks again. Jo

Stan and Ella Sasse
Thank you so much Sassythor for submitting this picture of Stan and Ella's gravestone. I've been looking for them for some time. Are you related by chance? Wasn't sure if the "Sassy" was a name or an adjective. Thank you! Melinda Witham
