Hello! To begin, I am a LADY. Confusing first name.|
On this website I am attempting to enter information from the west side of Iron County, Michigan in the Upper Peninsula, where I live. It's BEAUTIFUL here, with forests, lakes, hills, and rivers. The history of the area comes alive for me as I work on this.
I also am entering information from my own family tree and my husband's. We have 5 young adult children and one grandchild, and I'd like to preserve the family tree information for them.
I am a retired High School Librarian, so researching and recording this information is pretty thrilling & natural for me!

Thanks you so much for posting the Lundin family memorial stone pictures of Reynardine, Mary, and Theckla! I really appreciate it. I live away from there but can still go to visit and be with them even at 2 in the morning and in my pjs. Find a Grave is a lifeline that I can't imagine not having. Thanks for giving your time and talents so that others can keep in touch with their memories.

My mistake, I think, Dale. Dared to open one of my attached emails and find it's photo requests that could not be delivered. Oops. Sorry to disturb. You've done a nice job of adding their memorials to begin with and don't especially need to add more via transfer or whatever. It is beautiful country. I grew up in MN and we visited Muriel, Harold and all in 1960 or '61, I think. I'd have sent to your hotmail but Hotmail and MSN do not accept emails from my server. Tsk. ;-)

Hi Dale, Hope you're still around to answer my question! I tried to add parents to Muriel Anderson wife of Harold, also to Archie Lundquist with a possible link to Elvira per the linking line but they were refused. Why is that? Muriel was my mother's first cousin as was Archie. It would be so nice to add them to their parents, Carl and Eva in Ironwood. I noticed some other was refused also but would need to check each email to see which ones they were. At present only Evelyn and Kenneth have been added. Thanks so much! Sandra in Colorado

Hi Dale, a while back you had asked me to add an obit. to Carl's memorial. However, I accidentally deleted it and it took me a while to find you again so I could ask if you would still want me to insert it? If you still have the obit, I would like to add it now. Or, if you prefer, I can transfer the memorial to you? Sorry about that. Regards, Nadeen
I Believe this to be my Aunt. She was born 30 Jan 1907 in South Carolina, and died in Negaunee Michigan, Marquette County on 28 Oct 1978, and was married to my Uncle, PVT. Hugh Cantrell. Still getting more documentation on them, they had a total of four children, two of which I have documentation proof that are both passed on.

I just completed an Edit Relationship for his parents. They are his father Jean Marie Montpas #86063569 and his mother Ida M.Payant #86063568. He is my second cousin 2x removed. Would you please make the connection so other family members are able to see the connection with the family. Thank you for your attention.

Thank you for taking the time to try and get a photo of the gravestone for Laura. I really like your great idea of a "Photo" stating there is not a headstone and asking relatives to consider purchasing a gravestone, also that it states the "burial is confirmed by cemetery records". What a time saver that is for all the photo request volunteers.
Best wishes, Dana

Dale, you are welcome for the picture. I was surprised that she was buried here too, just for the fact I do not ever remember a judge or magistrate in this area by that name. In any event, it is a beautiful headstone. I really like the Michigan and West Virginia outlines on it. I am glad I could help out.
