Bio and Links
Bio Photo After two years of compiling records from the Kunesh Cemetery Ledger, I replace it with a ledger that had the names in alpha & numerical order. It includes over 480 names. I have been working on my husband's and my family trees for almost 40 years. I have over 3000 names in my database. Now that I am retired I have hopes of completing a lot of loose ends in my data and putting together a hard copy of each of the families.

John F. b. 2-9-1873 Illinois died 1954 buried at Kunesch cemeterY. Wife was Emma Kurth whom he married 5-3-1900 Brown County. I wonder if perhaps his original name was Schnese, son of Charles Schnese 1834-1925 Coopertown Manitowoc and Elizabeth Sukberzah, who were married in Ill. I wonder if you have access to burial records that show his parents. Since I am in Washington state, I have no way of knowing, however, I suspect that the original names was indeed Schnasa and some of the children kept that name, whereas their father changed the name to Schnese. This was the case in my father's family. If you can give me a 'wee' hint of this possibility or a simple 'get lost lady'--I would appreciate it. Thank you Anna

Albert F. Dahlke
Hi Janet:

I believe you have a photo on Albert J. Dahlke's memorial page that is actually a different Albert, Albert F. Dahlke. Albert F. was married to Ida and Albert J. was married to Emilie. If this is the correct cemetery for Albert F., you may have to create a new memorial page for him.

RE: Cedar Memorial Cemetery
Yes, Cedar Memorial is the correct one. I've lived within 15 minutes of the cemetery for over 40 years. You had the memorial for William Treptow entered into Cedar Park Memorial. There is a difference. If you use the cemetery lookup on find a grave using Cedar Memorial and Cedar Park you will see 2 different ones that are both listed in Cedar Rapids, Linn, IA. Cedar Park is NOT a cemetery. But all is good because I see that you changed it. :)

Although I transferred nine memorials to you today without question, for future requests such as the two names above, please consider the find a grave guidelines. "Transferring of management should only be requested If you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request."

Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. If these are direct relatives, please let me know the relationship and of course they will be transferred.

Not trying to be difficult, hope you understand.
