Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started researching the Rock family in 1995 because my father died when I was very young and I needed to know more about him. Then I found that researching my families made them come alive for me. I am hooked on family research!

Thanks to all who contribute to Find-A-Grave. It is truly amazing how many people give of their time.

Please let me know if you see any mistakes.

The pictures I take are for friends and family to use and no need to ask to copy. If you publish or use on another site please give proper credit due. Thank you.

Jo Nelson

You posted the original memorial for my friend Charlie Miller, and I want to thank you for that. At first I was distressed because he had no bio. He is fairly well-known for his painting, esp. in the Memphis area, and even has some national recognition, as the heir to Henry Hensche, among others. I wanted to ask you for a transfer of management, so I could work something up, but Linda Wayman beat me to the draw, as he is a Tech High grad. I asked her, but she declined, claiming you transferred to her, and responsibility, or some balderdash, but I now see that this was a good thing. Linda has done an EXCELLENT job with her bio and yearbook photo, much better than I probably would have done. Today I added Charlie's self-portrait. If you haven't revisited, I wish you would. I think you will be impressed. Thank you again for starting the ball rolling, and for all you do on Find A Grave.

Hi! Thanks for the updates to this memorial. If you are in any way related, I'd be glad to transfer them to your care. I'm not related they were buried near a photo request I was filling and I took their photo in case they were family. Just let me know! Thanks and take care! Dana

Camille Moore Christmas
Hi my name is Diana Haines Christmas I am the granddaughter of Charles W. Christmas. Brother to Camille. I am going to be moving to Tennessee to spend the rest of life and would love to meet or speak with relatives of kind. This part of my heritage has been missing for so, so long. I am trying to match an Aunt affectionately named "Big Mamma". I met my grandfather one time in Miami, Florida the day before he passed away. Unfortunately my brother and I were not told his exact identity. Any information about Aunt Camille would be cherished and relished. I can be reached at or 321-591-7057. I thank you form the bottom of my heart and wish you all peace and happiness.

RE: Henry Allen #11550299
Thank you... I'm sorry I had to ask. All my memorials look quite boring and bare now. I wish I hadn't sponsored all these memorials now... it doesn't seem worth it since so many images are now prohibited.

Hello, can you please remove the article you posted on this memorial? I was almost kicked off Find-A-Grave today because of articles like this being posted. Apparently, they are prohibited here even when they fall within the public domain (as this one does). I was told it was not a legality issue; just a Find-A-Grave policy. As I do not want to lose my ability to post, I am removing all images of vital records (even if they are our family copies) and articles. Thanks for your help with this. ~Evey
