Bio and Links
Bio Photo I had worked as a Home Health LPN for 13 years. Worked at Fulton State Hospital for 17 years as a Psychiatric Aide and as Mail Room Supervisor. Later worked as a Homehealth LPN in the field for a few years then in the office. Enjoyed this, especially the patients who were mostly elderly. Enjoyed all my jobs.
I am retired now. Have three children,12 Grandchildren and 2 greatgrandsons, Ryan and Anthony.
Three spoiled dogs who own us, Rocky, a Beagle Mix, Callie, a Chiweinie (Chihauhau and Dachsund mix) and Roscoe who is a Butterball Chiweinie, as big around as he is tall.
I like to walk thru cemetaries and have been doing my family tree, along with two of my sisters, for the last few years.I have three sisters and I am the oldest. My parents are deceased, my father for 33 years and my Mom for 6 years. I really miss her
I enjoy reading, crocheting, embroidering and quilting, especially baby quilts.
I really enjoyed walking through the cemetaries until my arthritis and asthma got worse but am going to try to start again in the fall, I also have allergic asthma so have two things that make it hard.
I think Find a Grave is a wonderful site and believe it is very important and is rewarding. If I have anyone that you would like transfered I will be glad to.
UPDATE: Going to be another great-grandbaby in December, another boy to join his brother, Ryan Nathanel who looks just like his daddy.
The baby is here, born December 6, 2011, a 9LB 9Oz Boy, looks like his Mom. Logan Xzavier Atterberry. So Happy.
Another update: My Granddaughter, Emily, is having a girl later this year, Isabelle first great-granddaughter, also my step-granddaughter, Heather will have a girl in June, Isabella.
Also have a new dog, Boomer, who is my baby. He is a Doxie.

RE: Louis Henry Backer
Thanks for the offer. I do not think you need to transfer his memorial to me.
As I tried to describe how got there, I only am related to Backers by marriage of a Baker to my Aunt. That is a pretty loose tie
Thanks for the offer.

RE: Louis Henry Backer
Thanks for fixing Louis. I stumbled on to your mistake when working with this family. I have to admit that I have made similar mistakes only to have them pointed out to me by others.

Louis was the grand uncle of Samuel Frank Maerz Baker married to my aunt Elizabeth Libby Crenshaw Baker. How is that for chasing twigs on the family tree?

Again, thank you.

James and Peter Williams
Have you had a chance to check the info I sent? If so, do you know who their father and mother were?

James Williams, son of Michajah
Hello
Do you have info on James Williams? I have a James Williams, Baptist Preacher, brother of my direct ancestor, Peter Williams. I am wondering if this could be the same one.

RE: Hi
You are most welcome. I know how much you enjoy this and I simply don't have the time or energy anymore. I'm trying to stick to writing. And while my grandparents moved away from Fulton back about 1906, I'm still related somehow to half the county. *L*

Letitia Perkins
I looked again, she had only been at Fulton 4 months, her time in the County Farm was not added in.

Letitia Perkins
No I am not related, but do have more information.

Letitia, nickname "Tish," was born June, 1824, in Tennessee. I believe it is likely she was born into slavery. Her owners may have been a family named Perkins.

In the 1870 Dade County, MO Census Letitia Perkins, 46, born in Tennessee, domestic servant, is living with the Alexander Cowan family. I have no proof, but believe she came with the Cowans from Tennessee. Alexander and his wife were both born in Tennessee, their children ages one to 12 were born in Missouri.

In 1900 Dadeville City, Dade County, MO "Tish" Perkins, 75, born June, 1824, TN, widowed, head of household, living alone, lists she gave birth to no children, cannot read or write.

The 1910 Dade County, MO Census lists Letitia Perkins living at the County Farm near Greenfield. It says she is 103 and has one child. I don't think this is accurate information.

I believe she was moved to Fulton where she could be better cared for when she became paralyzed. Her death certificate says she was paralyzed when received. I think the 4 years institutionalized counts her time at the Dade County Farm.

Thank you for being willing to help document the life of this beautiful lady, who spent most of her lifetime caring for others.

Reuben Clatterbuck
Hello, who is the photo of on Reuben's Find A Grave? It is my understanding that the burial place of Reuben is unknown. I was admitted to the Daughters of the American Revolution on my decent from him. Thanks, Anne Stockton O'Neal
