I am sill chugging along picking at them. |
Please no more rude messages, or I will have to fix it that no messages can be left..
Thanks for all your support!!! This is a very important site to keep active, not hate full. For the transfers,,,,I really want to go thru some emails before transfers are done. And YES I have done transfers, and some have been transferred to me. So the numbers will be off a bit (how rude to some of you few, uggg)
I do not do edits every day. But I do try to get to them every now and then. When a marker only has one date on it, that does not always mean that they were born and died on the same day. (just a small FYI)
Yes I lost approx. 6000 photos of Fairlawn and other cemeteries that were taken about March 2009 when my computer crashed. It kills me that they are lost. I have not been back to that cemetery since I had a falling out with a groundskeeper. And now years later I have health issues that keep me from walking cemeteries like I used to.
I have gotten a bit behind since Oct, I had emergency surg, family member had a stroke then I lost a family member. Getting back in the swing may take a bit. I will try to do edits this week.
I have had another death in the family that is very close to my heart. 2 deaths in 6 weeks will put a toll on you. I am still crying daily and do apologize for any delays. I do want to mention that some transfers are not complete due to they may be in my tree and at this time with a toddler running around and everything else going on I am not up doing massive research at this time.
Again I am sorry for any delays. I have done edits here and there. If an edit was not done I may think there is other info.
All edits are done to date. Still working on messages.

I was wondering why the memorial for Lise Froslie Bonderud has her birthdate as May 1855 while the tombstone photo shows she was born on June 27, 1855? Tombstones can be wrong, so I wondered if you had some inside information that conflicted? Thanks so much!

George(41868875) and Dayne(41868865) Lee are my husbands grandparents. Would you be willing to transfer management to me?

Hey P you added a record for WH Edwards 26 Mar 2009 Memorial #35175558. You have a line that says "Died at his home 225 West 2nd Street." can I ask where that info. came from? He is part of my family history research and I agree with this info. just trying to document it. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your photos from Fairlawn. One of the photos you shared is of the grave of my 2x great aunt Virginia Harris. I was looking for her place of rest when your photo came up on Find A Grave.
I have contacted the cemetery office and they tell me they cannot find her records. I do plan to go to the cemetery as soon as I can to have a face to face with the keepers there. But in the mean time I wonder if you can remember what parts of that cemetery you did not walk through. In case I have to begin looking grave by grave I could eliminate some sections. I have eliminated the Catholic section as I am sure she is not buried there.
Sorry for the rambling question. I was interested in learning why she was not buried in Tishomingo with her husband so have been pulling at all of the loose threads of her story.
I'm also sorry to hear that you have been receiving ugly posts. There are some very nice people in the world of genealogy. Wish all were, but not everyone till take anger management classes.

|Sandy Cambronne||Ruth Hornbaker Black Carlson|
Hello. In case you are still looking for information on Ruth, here's what I have:
Clarence Edwin Carlson was born on 31 December 1898 in Grantsburg, Burnett, Wisconsin. He died on 06 April 1979 in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota. He was buried in St. Johnís Lutheran Cemetery in Rush City, Minnesota. Clarence married Ruth Hornbacker on 31 December 1924 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Ruth was previously married to Harrison Edward Black and had two children Ė Paul and Helen. Ruth was born in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania in 1886 and died on 26 March 1960 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was buried in Riverside Cemetery in Grantsburg, Wisconsin.
An interesting note is that Ruth's son Paul married Olive Carlson, who was a sister to Clarence, his stepfather. So he married his step-aunt. :)
Does that match up with information you have?
Just going over some information I have had found that Johanna Anderson's last name was Ahlin when she married August but I have information that her parents were John & Mary Larson. According to my information this came from an uncertified copy of marriage. I do not currently have a copy of it but I think it can be found on line. I will be seeing what more I can find about her and her parents.

Just getting back to you.
I have a question and thought you might be able to help me. Could you tell me who Johanna Anderson was Sept 09, 1842 to April 22 1894. She shares a marker with my August B. Anderson at the Riverside Cemetery. I always thought August's 2nd wife was Emily Chanall Who was born in 1865 and died in 1919 who would have been Emil and Arthur Anderson's mother. Her mother was Kathrina. I am a bit confused. Would appreciate any information you may have. Thanks Dian

Thank you so much for the additions. Though it's hard for me to see them all in one place. He was one of my mother's brothers. They are all gone now. I can't find 2 of his children, though I know one for sure is dead and believe the other one is. So there are only 2 of his children not on that list. Again, thank you.

Sorry to hear about losing the pics. I've just started and I'm just learning about walking the cemeteries. I don't know how long I will last at my age (76). I did see your note about not doing edits everyday so I will stop worrying. I just found my uncle's site a few weeks ago, and that caused an avalanche of memorial sites. Clarence was my mother's brother and I will be so happy when all 9 of the siblings show up on a page. And they have to have parents first for that to happen. I do appreciate what you are doing.
