Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born and raised in rural Morrow County Ohio, and have a lot of ancestors in Morrow, Marion, Union, and Crawford Counties. I research my ancestors, esp: Baker, Poulton, Richie, Crissinger, Tuttle. I am a cemetery addict, and I love to fill in gaps in the public record about others I encounter along the way. If I have posted any photos of your family members' burial sites, please feel free to use them in any way you would like in your ancestry research.

RE: Malinda Fenstermaker Grey Baker
Denver Thomas Grey has been a family mystery that I have yet to solve. He was born to Milton J. and Emily (Southard) Grey on March 19, 1968. He married Malinda Ann on December 17, 1891 in Lambertville and their son Milton Thomas was born January 3, 1893. After that things are a little sketchy. He and Malinda were listed as witnesses when her sister Mary Elizabeth was married September 2, 1896.
In the 1900 census Malinda along with her son are noted in her parent's household and she is noted to be divorced and number of years married at 7 so that would make her divorced around 1898. I have not been able to locate Denver in the 1900 census and he often went by "Tom Grey" a very common name. Denver died June 27, 1902 at his parents house. A death notice in the paper stated that he had been in poor health for several months and was recovering from a recent severe sickness. The cause of death noted on his death certificate was cited as "Paresis" and the only thing that I could find related in that time period was paresis of the insane. It was noted that he was married. My thought was that he was in an institution in 1900 but really don't know.

I have a lot of photos of Anna and a fair number of Harry. The one thing that I can say about them is that seemed to like to have their pictures taken. If you send me you email I will work on getting some of them uploaded. You may get more that you asked for. Maybe you can identify a few folks for me as well.
Thanks so much Judy

RE: Malinda Fenstermaker Grey Baker
Malinda Anna was my great grandmother. Her only son was Milton Grey (it is Grey not Gray). He was my grandfather his son Norman Denver Grey was my dad. I have a number of photos of Anna and Harry. I am always willing to share. I have some of the Baker children as well. I did add the marriage dates when I added the spouses but they don't show up on the page. I can add them to the bio. BTW did you know that Anna's sister Cora Bell was married to Edward Baker? A cousin to Harry I believe.

Malinda Fenstermaker Grey Baker
Hi Becky
I received your request to connect Malinda Anna to Harry Baker. I will do that but Harry was her second husband not her first. It came through as a request to make Harry her 1st spouse. Denver Grey was her 1st spouse
