I am the oldest son of Wilbur James Priest and Rose Louise Cupps. I was born and raised in the Toledo, Ohio area. I have been doing genealogy research since I was about 9 years old.

I am a frequent speaker at local, regional, and national society meetings and seminars.
I am doing a one name study and have done extensive research on the surname Priest. I am currently preparing an interactive CD and a multi-volume book which will exceed 4,800 pages on the Priest family when it is released. My direct line ancestors came from Wales and settled in Virginia, then later moving to Licking County, Ohio.
I am also researching my other paternal line - Ankney/Ankeny and my maternal lines - Cupps and Schumacher.

Find A Grave Memorial# 38798170
This article states his wife's maiden name as Susan Ellen Hupp.
On Susan Ellen Priest's page , you have her maiden name listed as Susan Ellen Nichols. Which one is correct or was she married to a Nichols first? Thanks

This memorial updated also. I don't like to assume relationships that I don't know for sure. Someone created a memorial for one of my ancestors and they had them linked to her brother as her spouse, LOL! Most of the time I research the peple in my memorials to link family members in the same cemetery but I just added the Priest memorials the other night and haven't got to it, yet. I linked Edson Priest's parents to him and added Otsego Co. to his birth and death events, per your request. If you'd like transfers just let me know. I am no relation but I like to add memorials to the small, older, usually family cemeteries, that seem to be often "forgotten" in time...
I did not find a wife for Edson in this cemetery. He is buried with his parents and three of his children that died very young. Sad. | | | Paul Klear

Thank you for the additional information. PTL that Warren is still alive. I did not make a memorial for him I only mentioned that he was listed on the headstone so that makes my statement correct. He is not buried there.
