I transferred the parents of Jacob Westfall, your memorial 69250908, to your management as I'm deleting several memorials at your request. Please connect the memorials to Jacob and feel free to update/change the memorials to your satisfaction.
I'm assuming that like me, you are also a direct descendant of these folks.
Thank you for pointing out the duplicates, your time and your effort.

Are you related to the Pecks. I assume so since you have done so much work on them? Arthurs daughter Hailen Oglesby Peck is my daugher in laws grandmother and I picked up on your entries in fairlawn on her dad. I saw Arthur didnt have obit so I got one yesterday and typed it out to be posted. How are you related? and just curious where do you live? Im in Decatur, Ill

Much appreciated, I am most grateful for someone finding the memorials of my descendants and your caring for them. It has been most useful in updating my tree, again, thanks for caring for them. Kindest regards as well, Jerry Hughes

age of 33 without the months or days listed. Confusing yet.
In short, I added your possible birthdate on the memorial for Charlotte, as Monroe was just being incorporated as a city, and villagers did not keep accuThanks for the birthdate suggestions. I went by the church record I found for the marker in Memorial Place, which is 1802, but the marker in Woodland cemetery as a memory of her, has a different death date on it, as 1837, but the same rate records. Plus at that time, half the village got wiped out with a cholera epidemic, so what little burial records that were kept are a blessing to have.
One note of interest, the marker in Memorial Place for Charlotte has been well preserved, as it was covered with 4-6 inches of ground, and was found only by the city doing an ultra sound on the small cemetery. This marker has been covered since the early 1900's, and I was lucky enough to be part of the group to work on some ancestors from this area. I was thrilled to have records given to me that would have never been found by the ordinary searches. We could have used you there, helping us dig by hand, when I looked at all the Garwoods you have listed. The only thing, I was very disappointed to see so many of your memorials as Burial Unknown locations, that doesn't help me at all.
Have a great day, and thanks for the interest.

You have taken a really good photo of this cemetery - why don't you add it to the home page? It is better than the ones that have been added for the cemetery.
