Bio Photo Amateur genealogist interested in family names including: Brownstein/Bronstein, Clerkin, Eiting, Golinsky, Grossman, Knostman, MacDermand, O'Hagan, O'Neill, Plunkett, Romer, Schoen, Serby, Serlin/Serling, Sobey, Wilson, and Wright.

I am slowly helping to document graves in Union Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio.

I am happy to transfer management of any memorial to someone who feels a connection to the deceased. I do not mind when others incorporate grave photos that I have taken into their own family trees. Please indicate that the photo came from this website. Thanks!

I want to thank you for your hard work in providing Grave Memorial numbers for our loved ones. My father, Noah James (Dick) Dixon is in Grave Memorial #89395182. My mothers name was Kathleen and was also known as Katie.

I have been to his grave site many times, but since have moved to Newmanstown, PA.

For Dr. John Rossel - on his tombstone it says DOB of 1903 and on the page it says DOB of 1904 - do you know which one is correct?

I appreciate finding the Esty memorials and photo. What a task you have before you. I recently visited the cemetery during vacation and found the office staff so helpful. Thank you for the work on this project.

RE: Cave Family
Thanks. I found the sites when I was in Columbus last week. So nice to see them for myself. But your pictures are much better than the ones I took!
Thanks again for your help.

Cave Family
Hi Katie. You graciously provided photos of my Cave ancestors a while back. I am visiting in the Columbus area next week and want to visit the cemetery myself. Do you happen to remember where these graves are located?

Raymond E Martin
Raymond and his wife Mary Etta Fairman Martin
are in Union Cemetery. I believe that they are my descendants.
Do you know anything about them or know anyone who does know them.

They are a part of our family tree and would like so much to reach someone.

Their life started with Martha B Lewis Cook from Baltimore Md. Martha married Geo W Cook an engineer in Baltimore. they are in the Baltimore directories 1870 1871

Martha's mother was Rebecca Brown Lewis and father
Henry B Lewis. Rebecca died Feb 10, 1850 Carroll County Md. Martha went to live with her grandfather John B Brown in Baltimore along with her Aunt Mary Brown and Uncle Henry Brown on the 1850 census.. We have been searching for these families for the past 45 years.

Martha's grandfather John B Brown was the first tollgate keeper at the first gate at the entrance of Clifton Park of the Baltimore Harford Turnpike.
John B Brown is buried in Friends Cemetery in Baltimore Md. Look at findagrave Friends Cemetery baltimore md.

Henry Lewis remarried Elizabeth Pell and had two more little girls...

Henry and Rebecca had 5 girls. Heneritta was the last child of this couple. We found Henerita in the 1850 census at 6 mos old. But we cannot find a trace of her after that. All these children lived with others for a while and then went back to Henry and 2 wife Elizabeth Pell Brown, but no sign of Heneritta.

If you know anything , please please let me know.

Thanking you in advance,

Sallie Pierdolla

Mary Young Marshall #42081366
She is the mother of my great grandmother Anna Cave (#13241654).

Do you happen to have a picture of her husband, William? He remarried in 1896 after Mary's death, and I don't know if he is buried with the second wife (Elizabeth, born 1858) or with first wife. I am hoping he is also buried in Union Cemetery.

If you want to transfer Mary Young Marshall to me, I would be happy to manage it. I have asked Findagrave to transfer Anna Cave to me as the originator is inactive; they previously transferred her husband, Joseph H. Cave to me.

Thank you again for all you do. You have been instrumental in helping me close some gaps in my shadowy Cave line.
