I am not sure you are related to the Reid's. I do know that your family's Monroe Township farm bordered my grandfather's Mulenburg Township farm near Darbyville.
I have seen some census records that showed Reid's and Caudy's living at the same address. I believe that was by accident because the farms were next to each other.

Hi! I am very new to researching my family, the Burke family. Melvina was my great grandmother, my grandfather was Robert Burke and my dad was Joe Burke. If you have any info, my email is email@example.com. Nice to meet you!

Thank you so much Barbara! It is so nice to have these photos. I am glad the directions helped you out.

Barbara, I got the following guidance from a relative who visited the graves years ago. Let me know if this makes sense to you.
Let's see...1. If you are facing the Sid Hatfield statue, it is behind you and to the right down the hill. 2. It is on the edge of the hill facing Matewan. 3. There is a low wall there. The last picture in the book, the one of all the cousins was taken there. 4. There are four graves there-Al, Lucy, Paul, Marge.

Barbara, I thought you might be interested in the book my cousin Rebecca Goodwin wrote about the Hoskins family. A fair amount of Matewan history is involved, so as someone from there you might enjoy it. Link to it is below.

Barb, thank you very much. I will ask some of my relatives if they have any pointers that will help you find Allen Lewis and Lucy Ray Hoskins. I am sorry it has been such a trouble. Maybe I can get you some info that will help you be successful next time.
Thanks so much for trying.
