Disclaimer, The contents of information on individual records may or may not be correct. I have had request for connections on different memorial. Sometimes each party claiming that two different sets of parents were the parents of an individual. So accuracy is not guarantee. You must do your own research and apply it to your own off line family history. |
If wanting Bio's, family links or obituaries added to a memorial. I will add additional information or links as requested to memorials. Use the "Suggest a Correction" link under the "edit" tab that can be accessed from each memorial. Please do not post corrections as a message on my profile/wall page they will be deleted and the memorials will not be updated.
If you want to request a transfer, please read the following:
Find A Grave transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations; this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not within the four generations required to be transferred. When requesting a transfer use the EDIT TAB on the memorial. For all transfer requests provide your relationship to the individual you are requesting. If you do not, the request will be deleted.
Because of so many people being related to the same people you might consider writing hyperlinks to and from memorial's.
Do Not make bulk surname transfer requests - "I want all the Smiths you have" or "I want all the Jones in Hillcrest Cemetery"
If you are doing Genealogy you might consider joining one of the Ancestry programs on line. Find A Grave is about recording cemeteries for all to find interments and death information and to preserve as many stones as possible with a photo. If you appreciate that someone has helped you to find someone you were looking for be thankful and thank them for the information. They put the mileage on their car; spent their money in the gas tank etc., walked their legs off, sized pictures out the ying- yang and set long period of time to add them out of respect for the deceased one, Posterity and for others benefit.
Hateful antagonist remarks may be saying more about you, than what you're saying.

|R.Michael||Thanks for Tassie's addition info|
Thanks for Tassie's additions, wonderer. Her parents' memorials now have 6 of their 8 children's memorials linked to theirs. Just 2 to go!
It's not an issue of wanting to add more pics than is allowed,I still have room. I just wanted to add a photo of the gravestone, that I took myself, to my baby's memorial page. But that's allright

Thanks for adding the tombstone picture and the corrections have been made. My friend, Leta Watts Harrell and I went to Betty Gott's home and copied the information from the old records years ago. I have the information here somewhere but it will take me a while to find it. Not sure where everything has been put since I moved. As soon as I find it I will let you know what I find.

Thank you so much for updating her memorial and for doing it so fast. I really appreciate members like you who take care of business instead of dissing on others like some I've recently read. Some folks are just rude and you have to consider the source. Hang in there and thank you again I for one appreciate the work you do to help others like myself find their family that would other wise be lost. Great Job!
Could you please remove your link to my grandfathers memorial? Bessie Nichols is my aunt. That does not qualify under the "family first" rule established by find a grave. However, my aunt in Lincoln is her only surviving sister, and Bessie does have two children: one in Wichita, and one in Fall City. If you do not remove your link on my grandfathers memorial: I will have her children open up an account, and ask find a grave to give them management.
I realize you already had a memorial before me: however, why would anyone deny family members the right to maintain their relatives memorial? I wrote to you once before: but since I didn't meet their criteria: you ignored my message.
I don't feel I should have to send you pictures. Once I get finished with Roy and Sis's memorial: I plan on transferring it to their grandchildren in Texas (who are very busy raising their children).
I realize you want credit for taking the pictures and placing a memorial on this website. However, you are not related, and did not even know my aunt. That is just the chance you take when you go through cemeteries taking photos of graves of people you don't even know, or aren't related to.

|Ray David Morrison||RE: Margaret Helen Ashbaugh|
No I don't. I think her name according to the Dougan Family Tree book I have, was Margaret Helen Oliver, daughter to Lewis Eskridge Oliver and Mary Etta (Dougan Oliver.
She had a sister, Mary Francis Oliver.
