I'm sorry for not getting back with you a lot sooner Ellie, but I moved and lost my email address and was just able to regain access to my account. Thank you transferring these, and yes, John and Mildred are related as John is Earl and Bessie's son.

If you are close to Stockton, could I bother you to see if there is a death date for Mildred yet? I have been unable to find any record of her death and can find nothing else on her outside of a 2000 phone listing.

Mrs. Niemeyer Dies At Home in Seymour

Mrs. Catherine Niemeyer, age eighty, a life-long and well-known resident of Seymour and widow of Henry Niemeyer, died at the home, 614 East Fifth Street, shortly before noon Sunday. She had been ill for about a week.

Funeral services will be conducted at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning from the St. Ambrose Catholic Church with the pastor in charge. Burial in Riverview Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Voss Mortuary at anytime. The rosary will be recited at the mortuary at 7:45 o'clock tonight.

Mrs. Niemeyer was born on July 11, 1863, in this city, the daughter of John and Mary Knaub Megel, both deceased. She was married on April 24, 1888, in this city to Henry Niemeyer, who died on June 7, 1934.

Mrs. Niemeyer was a faithful member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Church and was a member of the Ladies' Altar Society and the Aid Society of the church. A host of friends who held her in high esteem mourn her passing.

She is survived by a son, Louis H. Niemeyer, and a daughter, Miss Clara Niemeyer, both of Seymour; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Motley, of Frankfort, IN, and three grandsons.
