I've been interested in genealogy for many years and in researching have found myself in many different cemeteries and have fallen in love with them. They have so many stories to tell, some happy and some not so. And as the years pass and the old stones are getting more and more worn and hard to read I am so glad to know so many are trying to preserve them by taking photos and transcribing the stones and getting them up on findagrave. What a wonderful place this is with so many hard working contributors.|

Janice, Thank you for taking the time to take this photo. I did not have his wife on my tree and this helped me also. I appreciate it.

You were so kind to return for a second time to the Calais Cemetery to fulfill a request for me. Two years ago (5/29/2014), you took a photo of Laura Craig Rogers on the same lot. According to an email of 2014 from Sally Moir, there should be a headstone stone for Moses Craig on that lot as well. Did you see evidence of another stone yesterday? Moses A. Craig, d. 1912, was my 2nd great grandfather. Sally indicated that the stone was for his son, Moses S. Craig., d. 1914.
Thanks again for all the work you do to preserve our histories.
