Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching the Camp families for over 35 years as a request from my Grandparents, Otis and Litha Camp who raised me from an infant, and my Mother, Florence Camp Ottmer. I have visited many states and even been to Europe to get information. My wife is probably tired of me using our vacation time and money to visit Camp locations and cemeteries.

To all you wonderful people who created memorials and have graciously transferred them to me, I THANK YOU!! (I am just late in getting started with Find-A-Grave.)

To all you wonderful photographers who have taken headstone photos, THANK YOU!! It all helps to honor our families!

In my spare time I publish genealogy books for others as well as for myself. I have published several books on the Camps of New England. My new book on the Camp Families from Edward Camp is now finished and for sale. A DVD version will be available soon as well. Contact me if interested.

After 6 years of cancer remission, the damned cancer has returned so I may not be as active on here as I was.

May God Bless
I have enjoyed reading your fathers memorial. I pray you have a full recovery from the cancer that plagues you.
May God Bless!

RE: Hannah Bouton Camp

Many thanks for the transfer. There are some Bouton - Camps that I added to this cemetery also. I look forward to getting better photos once the weather breaks hope you have the same optimism.

Thanks so very much for your time and effort.

RE: Camp photo request
Hi! I'm sorry to hear that you are not well.

When you have time, there is now an e-mail address where you can send your request for the grave location.

Please let me know where the correct location is when then provide you the information. I would be glad to go take a photo for you, whether or not there is actually a grave marker at the location provided.

I hope that you feel better soon! Ace

Reminder for Ellsworth Camp
Can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker?

Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772

This cemetery will not assist photo volunteers with finding the grave's location and the Find A Grave FAQs (Help File) states it is the photo requestors job to provide this information.

Thank you! Ace

George Camp
Please read more carefully - someone sent me a suggest a correction that says that:
Via SAC 10/2010
George Camp was b. in Plymouth, Litchfield, Conn. and d. in Plymouth, Litchfield, Conn. He was the son of Benajah and Chloe (Jerome) Camp. He was probably b. and d. on the same day.

Hi! In regards to your photo request, can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker? Please post this information to the memorial or send it to me.

Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772

Forest Home is a huge cemetery with well over 70,000 burials, and the information is needed in order to find someone there and take a photo of a grave. I go here regularly, and since August I have found over 200 graves at Forest Home that had the location information provided. Thank you! Ace

Silas Camp

I happened to find a rather old grave stone with the name "Silas Camp" at Wilson Township cemetery (just a few miles from Alpena, MI). Not sure if this is a person of interest to you, but I snapped a photo anyway and uploaded it if you should like to see.
