I was raised in Bradford Co., PA on a farm. My interest in genealogy was sparked by my lack of grandparents on my father's side, since he was adopted. So I traced my Rockwell side back to the Rev. War. I like historical research, so what better place to focus my interest on - cemeteries. My wife's ancestors are from Sullivan Co., PA so my main focus is on Bradford & Sullivan Counties in Pennsylvania. I am on the findagrave.com volunteer photographer e-mail list so will take a photo for you when requested.|
You have my permission to use any picture taken by me for personal uses. It takes much time and effort to locate, process, and post these images I have posted, so I expect and appreciate the courtesy of citing your source!
If any of the memorials I have created need updates, please contact me. If any are a relative of yours and you want to manage them, let me know and I will transfer them. Please use the edit tab and SAC to ask for a transfer or update.

|hlnlyns||Jemima Horton Lyons|
I am really researching John Lyons, but came upon a discrepancy in his wife, Jemima's, dates. According to findagrave, she was born in 1806. Her first child, Isaac, was born in 1815, when Jemima would have been 9. I have found Issac's birthdate in several places, so am wondering about the validity of 1806 for her. Any ideas?

I see some crematories are now set up on FindAGrave in lieu of unknown burial such as the main crematory in our county BUCKHEIT CREMATORY.
There are also incredible delays in just getting stones in place. Had a friend die last fall and they still do not even have a funeral home marker there, which I do not understand at all. Sure it is winter, but little funeral home marker is not that hard to install!!
|David Edsall||Wilson & Adelia Canfield|
Hi - The link to Adelia, his wife, on Wilson Canfield's memorial, takes one to his brother Ithamer's memorial. -- I've added Wilson's full date & place of death from his death certificate. Evidently he was insane. Best, David

Thank you for posting a marker photo for this baby, and for letting me know the correct dates.
As to the location - is it Plot S rather than Section S ? or Section S, Plot S ?
Thanks so much!

|David Klees||Jacob Klees Brown (1847-1919)|
I thank you very much for your work on findagrave. While I have been doing genealogy for 45 years (and my 91 year old father was doing it as a teenager before World War II), we did not start putting this Brown family together until the 1970s. I am overjoyed to see that photograph of Jacob K. Brown's tombstone. I have never found a Pennsylvania death certificate for Jacob or his wife Margaret. This is what I have on them and their children.
JACOB K. BROWN b. April 6, 1847 d. 1919
m. MARGARET HERMAN b. April 1866, Germany Margaret died apparently 1908-1910
Jacob buried Tioga Point Cemetery, Sayre, PA
(1) LENA C. BROWN b. July 1885 d. late 1920s(?)
m. _______ _______
lived Endicott/Johnson City, NY, area
(2) SARAH B. BROWN b. August 1887
no further information
(3) NELLIE E. BROWN b. Nov. 13, 1889, Monroeton
m. THEODORE JANKOWSKI
(4) MOLLIE MAY BROWN b. January 1891
m. JOHN R. GEISS
(5) DORA E. BROWN b. October 3, 1898
m. GEORGE W. THOMAS
I can confirm with 100% certainty that Ellen M. Thomas Hawke (1915-1957, findagrave #141549164) is the granddaughter of Jacob K. Brown (1847-1919).
I will revise my comments on Jacob K. Brown's biography as soon as I can.
Thank you very much,
David L. Klees
