Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am retired and spend a lot of my free time volunteering. I have a great interest in genealogy, and because I know the feeling of frustration when you seem to come to a "dead end", I was excited to find this web site. It is my goal to photograph and get information on all the graves in Chippewa County, Michigan. A big undertaking, but not impossible. I can take pictures during the summer, and do research on them during the winter. Perhaps I will get a chance to help YOU. "Paying it forward" is the key! Happy hunting!! Sorry, but I do not do Canadian searches.

I would be happy to transfer any of my memorials to you. I add many people that have nothing to do with me, so feel free.

RE: Joseph Lalonde
Thanks, Karen. We always thought that there was another cemetery somewhere. Some of our ancestors that passed on before the 1850's haven't left a clue as to where their remains may have been interred.

Hi Karen,

I was just reading your description of Joseph's memorial, and I am wondering if you have any further information re:the Old City Cemetery.
ie: where was it located, how many souls were buried there, when did it close, were all of the bodies removed to other cemeteries?

Thanks for any additional information that you may have.

George Hart & George W Hart Memorials
Hi Karen ~

I don't think I ever thanked you (way back in 2012) for these memorial transfers at Lytle Cemetery and Riverside Cemetery, respectively!

I appreciate all you're doing in Chippewa County to and and preserve these memorials; it's where many of my ancestors are located. :)

God Bless you,
Debra

RE: Zona Margaret Kalbfleisch Pierson [97137823]
Thank you, Karen, for the name correction "Vera vs Verna". However, I need some help. I searched the memorial to correct the name, but I couldn't find the name "Vera". Since many use "Find-A-Grave" for genealogy research, I strive for accuracy in all the data entered. But I also strive when possible to connect relatives to their kindred memorials. Since Verna is your mom, that would make Zona your aunt (and near relative). I am transferring her memorial to you management..and so very glad to be able to make the connection. (Perhaps you can fine "Vera" to make the name correction to "Verna"). Thanks for the note. Bob A

Zona Margaret Kalbfleisch Pierson [97137823]
Thank you for you note suggesting the following connection to Zona Margaret Kalbfleisch Pierson [97137823]

FATHER: Harry Kalbfleisch [73155821]
MOTHER: Louise Miner Kalbfleisch [66513921]
Zona Margaret Kalbfleisch Pierson [97137823]
siblings:
Floyd Kalbfleisch #66513892
Selden Kalbfleisch #73155850
Vera Kalbfleisch Miles #91086010
Charles Clair Kalbfleisch #93438991
Claris Ruth Kalbfleisch Snyder (LIVING)

Please note that Vera and Charles are already linked to the parents and are shown as siblings to Zona.

I tried linking Floyd and Selden but noted that you already have pending links waiting to be confirmed. With the exception of the living sibling Claris, I believe when your pending links are accepted the family connections will be complete.

RE: Anthoni Radomski
Karen,
Thanks for the information. I knew that you were not related but you responded to a J. Thom last July and it looked like she was looking for information on Anthony Radomski. I think I forwarded her the same info but new to this so hope I hit the right buttons!
Yes, Julia Bozik is my great-grandmother, she was widowed from Anthony Radomski and re-married George Bozik. Alexander Robinson (name changed from Radomski) was Anthony's and Julia's son.
Charles and Victoria (Julia and Anthony's daughter) Reilly are my grand-parents. The name Susan Reilly is new to me. She was not married to Charles but wonder if she was somehow related. A number of Reilly siblings came from the Boston area in the late 1890's I assume to work on the locks but my grandfather Charles was the only one who remained with the others all eventually returning to Boston area.
In your post to J. Thom last July you referenced that Anthony's parents on death certificate were listed as Michael Radomski and Kati Mekarski from Poland. As far as additional information, when you have time, the death certificate of Julia (Radomski) Bozik would presumably give me the names of her parents which I don't have. Again, thanks.
