If you find someone in my managed list that is your family, please feel free to either correct info, add to it, or ask for the transfer so you can do it yourself. If correcting info, please use the edit tab...
Please do not be offended if I make a suggestion on a memorial you hold of my family member. We all want our records to be accurate, but keep in mind it's just a SUGGESTION, not an attack on the keeper of the memorial. As you can see in one of the posts in my messages below, someone felt that way & then proceeded to remove my reply that it was merely a suggestion. No demand was made.
If you are a member of the Grossman, Lyons, Lambertson, Elkins, Hazard or Maxwell families, please let me know. I love finding living relatives more than those who have passed. They're interesting too, but they don't say much.
Hope to fulfill requests when I can & create new memorials for future seekers!

I just went thru all 147 messages you hadn't deleted. I see no one who "bad mouthed" you or took it wrong as a correction suggestion! I've had my own yucky ones, believe me!
One lady (female) told me in no uncertain terms that the memorial was HERS, and she was not adding the married name from the stone (and burial). I told her that the memorial belonged to whomever's name was on the TOP not on the BOTTOM of the memorial!
Another female refused to go with the stone which clearly said the wife was "buried in....(another cemetery)". So there are two different cemeteries that show the same lady with no cross reference!
Then there's the lady in Canada. She has COPYRIGHTED the whole darn cemetery, photos, memorials etc. What good are photos you cannot use..not even the one of the cemetery itself??
I just give up!

Thanks for her maiden name. I've updated the memorial. May I transfer it to you?

Thanks Sheri for your help. Actually I am more interested in finding info on Leon Decoene, but knowing her maiden name may help me in furthering my search. You've been very helpful, thank you again.

Good Morning Sheri,
Good catch! Thank you! I'm in the process of entering all the burial locations for all the burials in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Louisa was entered in the Mount Calvary Cemetery database under her maiden name, not Schmidt. I have deleted this memorial and transferred the data to where it belongs.

Hi Sheri. In searching for info on my great uncle, Leon DeCoene, I found that he may have been married to Ida DeCoene (I'm just not sure if it's the same Leon DeCoene). In my research I found where they were married in 1927 and divorced in 1928. It also says that there were no children. Do you have any info that you can share with me? Thank you very much.

Hello: It seems that www.billiongraves.com had incorrect information on her name. She is now Mary C. Rofe Brock, wife of Martin A. Brock. I added her census data and marriage record, and linked her to her parents and husband. Thank you for her gravestone picture...

Hello Sheri: I was able to find a lot of information on Alexander and added it to his memorial. I confirmed his place of birth, date of death and place of death. His memorial has been updated as suggested...

Hello Sheri: I corrected Mary's birth date. It seems the www.billiongraves.com information was incorrect. However, I made her date of death March 24, 1916, which corresponds with her death record. Her stone has March 25 but her attending doctor at the St. Joseph's Retreat in Dearborn stated that she died on March 24th...

Hello: Thank you for the picture of Andrew's gravestone. I am hoping to get to Michigan this summer and make a few trips to Southfield Cemetery. I added his death date as requested...
