| Bio and Links | I am an amateur genealogist and have found one of the best ways for me to collect hints on my family is to walk cemeteries. I currently live in California but many of the cemeteries I have walked are in Alabama. I take pictures of all the markers in cemeteries where I find ancestors. It is simply quicker than trying to write details down in the cemetery. If you have a Biography for one of the entries I would be happy to post it as well. I am not a typist and hopefully have not made tooooo many typos but if you see one please let me know so I can fix it I am not related to many of the people I have added; entries are posted in the interest of genealogy and history, and the hope that someone will add my lost ancestors.
I will no longer do mass transfers of everyone with a specific surname in a cemetery. I will continue to add cemetery surveys as time allows.
Please use the "Suggest a change" link on the edit tab of a memorial to suggest changes or request transfers. | |

 | Rose Ann Jacikas # 38270983 Hi Eric,
Mrs. Jacikas maiden name was McCarthy as shown on the headstone photo I just uploaded for you. I had a request for Mr. Jacikas photo and thought I'd take hers as well in case there was not one posted. Best, Connie | | | Boice
 | James Boyce #83289154 California I have reason to believe that James Boyce, Sacramento County [CA] #83289154 is the son of the brother to my 2nd great grandfather. Per 1930 census aged James Boyce was an inmate in the Sacramento County Hospital, so if he died while hospitalized would burial in the Sacramento County Cemetery be logical? James never married.Added by Boice on Apr 08, 2013 6:53 PM | | | Sandra Mulhern
 | RE: John Green Cemetery Hi Eric --
My interest in your name was because my great-great-grandmother was a Watson. Her name was either Maryann Francis or Marzan Francis Watson and she was married to Christopher Wren Green, oldest son of John Green from Burnt Corn. Her headstone reads M.F. Green.
My great-grandfather, Marion, son of Christopher, left Alabama after the Civil War and traveled to Texas. The family lore has it that Marion hopped on the wagon with the Watson's and went with them to Bridgeport, Texas. Many descendants of Watson's and Green's still live in Bridgeport and have married within the family groups.
My Mom's cousin, Bo Green married Bonnie Watson. My cousin, Gary Homer, married Linda who was kin to the Watsons. There may be others, but these are ones I know of. Since I live in Oregon, I don't really know a lot of people from Bridgeport. My Mom did but she has passed.
So we may be connected in more ways than just the fact that you found the cemetery.
