RE: Bernie McCormick
Hi,

I found this memorial (131367622) when I was going through and connecting all of Bernie's seven siblings to their parents. Grandma never gave the reason as to why Thelma had him moved back to Florida.

Bernie (117048111) isn't buried in Midkiff Cemetery. According to his sister Olive (my grandmother) Thelma had him exhumed and sent to Florida where he was buried. I asked Grandma after searching the cemetery for his marker.

Memorial Management Transfer
Would you mind transferring the management of Fredrick Allen White (125081445) and Ephraim Hamilton White (125081417). They are my grandfather and great grandfather. Thank You! Christina (47029994)

Are you related to anyone in this cemetery? The pictures I took were in late October, and I know I missed a lot due to the weeds then. I would recommend a warm winter day. I do know of another cemetery close to this one that probably has some Woods and other families related to the ones buried in Spessard. As far as I can tell it is not yet documented on Findagrave, but until I get there and get some names, I won't know for sure.

I was a little torn adding this obituary as the guidelines for Find A Grave ask that obits not be posted. I suspect this is a matter of privacy. However, I feel like this has already been public in the newspaper and the only people looking at this memorial would be family members who already know the other family members. It also states where the obituary appeared so I decided to add the obit to the memorial.
Thank you for helping me make this decision.

My grandfather was Henry Paul "Fuzzy" Holley. You can transfer it to me if you like. I have information on my great grandmother Grace Meadows as well. Do you want that information? Thanks for replying. Rodney

RE: midkiff Cemetery on Childress Rd, Alum Creek
Doris,

I put in the other photo that Earl Brinker took of Daniel Midkiff tombstone that he took several years ago, and it is in better shape, than the one that is up there now. I cant believe how fast
that these stones are deteriorating.I wonder if Redmond or Redman Martin is buried at the older Midkiff cemeteries there further up the hill. Thanks for updating the Midkiff cemetery, I do have another question? For Louise Midkiff twin sister to Lucille Midkiff it says that the informant was Ethel Smith which was her sister and Ethel said that Louise Midkiff mothers name was Cell Morrison, but I would love to see Louise and Lucille Birth certificate, to see if it shows that also Lucille mother was also Cell Morrison since they were twins, or even do you have a copy of Lucille Death certificate that says her mother was Cell Morrison or Cee Martin. I might be having some surgeries on my right elbow and right wrist later this year, because I have tennis elbow and Carpel tunnel in both of my arms. I have been going to a therapist and they said that I have a repetie injuries. Please keep me informed about the cemeteries, I would love to see all of the old stones at the cemeteries, please take as many pictures as you can while you are there. Good luck.
