Every life matters. As an author and researcher, I've been the beneficiary of the knowledge and assistance of thousands of historians and genealogists. I try never to miss an opportunity to pay these favors forward.|
You are welcome to share my photos among family members. Photo credit is appreciated but not required.
Accuracy is important to me. If you spot errors, please let me know *respectfully.* If you send me additional information to add to memorials, INCLUDE YOUR SOURCE/DOCUMENTATION. I decline to post information from copyrighted sources (most books and some obituary sources) but can usually post directions to your source.
I'm happy to refer you to other Oregon resources as well.

Thank You. My guess is that he remarried after E. died, and was buried with the 2nd wife.

Friends of Riverview have taken down the link between Ethel Matthews #127124605 & "spouse" # 59334844. Would you please make the link, Ethel, mother #127124605 & Jack #59334844, her son. Thank you very much for your help.

Thank you, I have asked that Friends of Riverside take that link down so we can link Jack to his mother. Will get back to you when it clears.

To me it is really sad when the photo used to be there, and it is now missing, chipped, or faded. I always look around to see if it is buried in the grass. Yesterday I actually found one under a matt of grass that was in perfect condition. I was so happy to be able to show the photo requestor an intact 100 year old monument. Ace

Jack Matthews # 59334844, was the son of Ethel Matthews #127124605 not her spouse.

Ellen, would you please transfer my Uncle Lee to me so I can link him up with rest of family? I have been searching for quite a while, I knew he left Texas and went to Oregon and worked for the rail road, just didn't know where in Oregon I would be much thankful to you.
