John Mallory Land
Memorial #59805228
Hi - you submitted some suggested edits for the memorial for Amanda Evelyn GORDON who married MOORE - namely: born 30 MAR 1850 in Harris County, Georgia, died in same, and nicknamed "Babe." I am interested to know your source for these recommended changes, particularly the birth date. This is because she appears in her parents' census household on the 1850 census (aged 6 years) and 1860 census (aged 15 years), and the 1900 census shows her birth date to be Mar. 1845. Thanks - John

The Old City Cemetery and the Black Old City Cemetery are located together and adjoining the Jewish Cemetery. From US 79, turn south on FM 908
one block past railroad tracks

Ed, was there any additional information on Martha in the Bible you saw?

Ed, you can take my word for it that he and Martha are buried at Shockaloo Cemetery in Leake County. I only wish I had taken a photo of their tombstones.

Margaret Sullivan
Hi Ed,
I am great grandson of Mary Ann Phillips - daughter of Jesse Phillips and Margaret Sullivan. Mary married Nelson C Cooley and they finally settled in LA. I live in Beauregard Parish Louisiana. I am writing an ebook on Nelson and his/mine family. Any help on Jesse Phillips and his family would be appreciated. I have a ebook out on my mothers Cooleys "Little Berry Cooley" by Jimmy Earl Cooley.
it has some of Phillips, Cooley, Sullivan info but now doing a book on that side. Any help appreciated.

Ed, I processed the edits and then have transferred the memorials to you. Are they family? Susan
