Thank you so much for taking a picture of William Van Sickle's plot at Broadview Cemetery. It was extra nice of you to put a flower there. I hope to one day be able to afford a gravestone for my gg-grandfather, but until that time, the picture of the flower will serve to remind me that he has been immortalized here at F.A.G.

The story passed down a couple of generations is that she died after a boiler explosion...or something to that effect. I can only assume it was around the date of her death. Her father Rufus Whitaker was a minister (Reverend) who traveled up and down Montana. He lived in Rapelje, Montana and Judith Gap, Montana for awhile.
They may have been visiting when the fire occurred...
You would think there would be an article if something that traumatic occurred. Thanks again for looking! | |
