Hello fellow find-a-gravers,|
To request transfer, please do not post your request here in the comments section. I ask that all transfer requests be made through the official "suggest a correction" mechanism. Just go to the memorial, click "edit", then click the last option which lets you send a free form request. That sends me a link to the memorial, which helps ensure I process the correct one, and also sends me your member number so I don't have to go look it up. This saves me two or three steps, and helps me be accurate.
Excluding my own kin and special memorials, all of my memorials are up for grabs. If you are kin, you should have them imo. If no kin comes forward, then anyone who has a connection. Maybe you live next to the cemetery? Maybe you went to school with him/her? Maybe I have one of your old co-workers. You get it :) Just ask!
If you are also adopting out your memorials, I would happily adopt any of my main family surnames in the United States: Claussen, Crawford, Fox, Pennington, Petersen.
Thanks, and may God bless you immensely today!
This is the day the Lord hath made. I will rejoice and be glad in it! (and not spend the whole day working on findagrave! LOL )

Thank you for transferring my 2nd great-grandfather's memorial to me. I have been working all day sending edits to get his children and wife linked to him. This was an unexpected joy. I really appreciate it.

Thank you for the transfer. I love your last comment....not spend the day working on findagrave! Me, too! :)

I would never remember my sister by going to your crappy website -- filled with inaccurate information and typos. What gives you the right to post the information? Do you not have any respect for the privacy of others? Why not contact the family before you publicly air the details of the murder of their loved ones? Don't you think it would be wise to get permission? If you had extended that courtesy to us, we would never have agreed. Your website, profiting on the loss of others by selling ads is pathetic. I can only hope my family members, including a daughter named after my sister Susan, never see your shameful "memorial." We were scarred enough when this happened years ago and now you have made me relive that awful time -- as well as sharing it with others. Again, how can you live with yourself? Surely there must be better jobs available.

I will add the photo to the other memorial. There should only be one memorial for each person. Since yours was created first, you can email the person who maintains the second one (98969900) and request that it be deleted as it is a duplicate. It may have been created thinking this was another Charles Pennington.

Who are you to violate the privacy of my family and the loving memory of my deceased sister and niece? You have no right to post all of the tragic details of my sister's passing online. You are the lowest of low -- profiting from the sorrow of others uncaring about the pain it might cause those reading it. How do you sleep at night?

I was wondering if you are able to tell me where you obtained the middle name of 'Marthe' for Lulu Stephens Davis (#17630969)?
Another find-a-graver suggested I change it to 'Myrtle' based on the Missouri death certificate. However, I have a copy from a bible register of births and it only indicates the letter 'M'. Any info you have will be appreciated.

Hi Deb: I tried to follow your directions to obtain the "form" you mention but the LAST option was for Facebook and I am not on it. Julia was my gt. grandmother and would appreciate if you would consider transferring her to me. My Find A Grave # is 47549253 so I can add some info to her biog. Thanking in advance.

Thank you for the information you sent. I would have gotten to it eventually as I'm in the process of doing research on all my memorials. As you know, it takes time. Thanks again.
