Morning Frank, Nice surprise hearing from U.
Yes, the access thru the horse farm is still there, traversing it was easy, but we didn't get a chance to travel it on the first of three trips we made out there.
Luckily for me, the lady I went to visit lived only 5 miles from the cemetery, what a coincidence.
We did a property tax search to see who owned the land, and the house in the background foto, and believe it or now, she knew him. So, she called, He met us at his entrance on hwy 53 and gave us a guided tour of his property and cemetery.
He was quite happy that someone was there to film and log in the tombstones, so all went well.
First day, meet & greet.
Second day, inventory and clean
Third day, photograph all that could be read
(it rained heavy before we got there, I slid off the old road into a ditch, a vehicle has more power pulling than pushing so by adjusting my steering angle and hitting reverse, we got out ok)
Can U imagine trying to get AAA out there, Ha !!!
Anyway, project complete and I couldn't have done it without your input, so if U ever need a favor in my area of the country, let me know and I'll do what I can.
Thanks Again, James Coston
I mis-typed your name. Hello Frank. :>)
Hello James, please check the birth and death dates. They may be reversed.

Just wanted ya to know that I finally made it to Georgia, and, with your directions, I located the cemetery and was able to post fotos of the markers, save 2.
I couldn't have done it without your help.
I'm passing this info along in case U had other interests there that weren't located, as we also added 3 markers that were not posted previously.
Again, thanks for the help.
Later, James Coston

Assuming the bio foto is U, that means ex-navy, as was I, submarine service then surface craft.
Thank U for your service.

I read a book about the exploits of the Gravleys during the Civil War and the activies at the local church and afterwards, I find the events of interest and wish to visit the cemetery where some of the participants are buried.
My wife and I have friends from Texas that live in the Hinton area that we go visit October every other year or so and that time is coming up.
I noticed that it was U that posted the fotos but there are no directions, the cemetery "appears" to be outside the property fence of the house in the background.
My question, can U provide me with driving instructions from Hinton and is the cemetery accessable to the public if I show up there.
