Thank you for sending along additional data for this entry.
Hello B. Roberts. I received your note of thanks for the information I sent you for Bernice James Ballance's memorial (#88752052). It is always my pleasure to assist fellow Find A Grave members in making memorials as detailed as possible, as I appreciate their input for the ones under my management. And you are quite welcome, by the way.

HEY THANK YOU FOR THINKING OF MY MAMA SHE IS A WONDERFUL WOMEN..
|Little Marie||Oren E Coleman|
Thanks for linking Oren with his mother Viola Rabun Coleman and for the offer to transfer him to me. I think he and I are related but am still trying to track down his father John D Coleman who would be my connection with Oren. I don't have anything further to add to Oren's memorial right now so you keep him. IF I do make the connection and have meaningful info to add to his mem I will ask for him. Thank you Little Marie

Thank you for leaving a note on my Meema's birthday last year. I just discovered this site as I am researching my family tree/history and came across her page. I miss her so much and it is nice to see that someone remembered her. Did you know her? I am her granddaughter. :)

|Vicki Bullard||RE: Harvey L. Ketner|
I double checked the dates for Harvey Ketner buried at Ebenezer Lutheran Church Cemetery in the survey as you suggested and they are correct as posted according to the survey. It very well could be that the survey is in error as it was transcribed from a handwritten document and handwriting is hard to decipher sometimes. However, I think you may be confusing the 1940 cemetery survey I mentioned as my source for the 1940 Federal Population Census.
According to Wikipedia, "The Historical Records Survey (HRS) was a project of the Works Progress Administration (WPA) New Deal program (under FDR) in the United States. Originally part of the Federal Writers' Project, it was devoted to surveying and indexing historically significant records in state, county and local archives. The official mission statement was the "discovery, preservation, and listing of basic materials for research in the history of the United States."
This record is located at the North Carolina State Archives website, www.archives.ncdcr.gov, or go directly to digital.ncdcr.gov and search for Ebenezer Lutheran Church Cemetery, Rowan County, N.C.
