I have had a passing interest in family geneology for a long time, but only got into it more in the last few years. |
I am interested in Rosenthal, Schechinger, Sondag, Book, & Heller. My extended family came from Germany in the 1800's & lived in western Iowa.
I am also interested in Carson in Chicago & Goddette/Martin in Vermont.

Hi Patty, I was taking photos today at Crawfordsville Union Cem. this afternoon and while uploading grave stone photo for Samuel Chilson memorial # 27056124 noticed you have another Samuel Chilson at Pioneer Cemetery in Salem. Same DOB & DOD, wondering if this could be a duplicate entry ?

Patty, thank you for the help for David. I have sponsored the photos. David fought in the WW11 battles of Sipan, Tarawa, Tinian and Guadacanal. Although I never met him I still have the two Japanese swords that he sent to my father at the end of WW11. I have just discovered his sister who is still alive and have been talking to her on the phone. I live in CT. and she is in Oregon. Her and David's father was my Grandmother's brother.

Thank you, Patty, for updating her page - and so quickly, too. It's nice to have her connected to her parents, and info posted for her. Blessings!

Sorry. I don't know why I thought it would be grabbed from where I was. Anyway, Lanny Jarvis 77021102. Thanks!
