Hi Evelyn & Loren,
You have posted a photo of Egbert Gerald Boyd, Liscomb Cemetery.
Do you have a clearer photo that is more readable. As part of the family, we would like to know if this is one stone for 3 children, Gerald, Paul and Edbert as there are three boy in the family by those names.
Sorry, but we can not view it well enough.
Can you send a better copy to me:
Charles Waid, email@example.com
Thanks and keep up the great work.

Thank you for posting the headstone photo of Sarah Mason, Died May 1, 1870.
Can you tell me what the inscription says on the stone?
It looks like Sarah, wife of W.H. Mason? Or is it W.R. Mason?
Aged 29 years, 3 months?
and daughter of___________
I cannot make out the last line of the headstone
I appreciate your help
The linking has been done. Was glad to do it for you.

I did not see your message until just now. I was interested to learn that you are a descendant of Jabez Talbert Hale and his wife, Sara Henrietta Skaggs, of Calloway Co.,KY, and later of Davidson Co., TN, and then on to Arkansas Sara was a sister of my gg-gf, Samuel Meshach Skaggs. You are correct that there are other Skaggs people buried in Mt.Gilead - about 20 in total. A number of the markers have disappeared since my first visit there in 1964. There are also other relatives of the family buried there, including the Norsworthy and Wells families.
Thanks so very much for the great photos of his stone in Union Cemetery!

We are transcribing the Liscomb Cemetery Book. We have marked the 3 Gould memorials in the book and won't be making duplicates. However, you may find more exact end dates helpful. They are:
Block I, Lot 59 Owner: Charles Gould
[No burials noted in the S1 and S2 spots]
Charles W Gould: Feb 7, 1907
Block I, Lot 59, Grave C
Hellen Gould: Apr 10, 1908
Block I, Lot 59, Grave S1
Eddie Gould: Nov 3, 1889
Block I, Lot 59, Grave S2
N = North
S = South
C = Center
When we complete the cemetery listing, we'll be downloading the cemetery information and sending on to the Marshall County Genealogy website. We're trying to get all information from the only Cem Book...things happen!
