I'm interested in researching my family's roots.

I can and will transfer a memorial to you if you have a reasonably close relationship to you. I do ask if I transfer the memorial to you and someone who is of a closer relation asks for it that you would let that person have the memorial.

Note: I work swing shifts and receive a high volume of edits/corrections. So, please allow a few weeks for your edits/corrections to be processed. In addition, I do not add full records to the memorials. It clutters the memorial. I'll add biographical information, notable achievements, family information, but I won't add full records. Thank you for your patience.

I took the liberty of posting a rescued photo of your great-grandfather. If you already have it and want me to remove it, just let me know.

RE: Druey B Blackburn
Hi - thank you for the update. I usually send 'proof' of requested changes...some people won't 'accept' an edit without documentation.

B Allen
A few hints his name was other than "B": 1. The 1900 census shows him as N B Allen. 2. The 1910 census shows him as N B Allen. 3. none of his siblings had single letter first names. 4. Single letter first names in the 1800s are almost non-existant. 5. family member on Ancestry named lindajlaconte shows a photo of him labeled Napoleon Bee Allen - she copied the photo from you and has no citations for the idea his name as Napolean Bee.

Who has the family Bible?

I suspect this was before birth certificates in Nebraska (or Illinois?) so ones "true" name was whatever one chose.

Any Allen descendants of Levi and Charity are welcome to contact me at as part of my reaserch on Charity's TAYLOR ancestry.
