|Susan Barwick||HI ya|
Glenn, Most all of the folks here at Find A Grave are just great. They welcome info that is sent to them for a memorial. There are more who will never respond to an email type of suggestion. There are those who for some reason, nick and pick over everything. Now there are certain facts that need to be correct of course and we all want those edits coming to us. When you find a contributor whose comments on their profiles pages contains as many or more where people have been offended by the way the contributor wrote to them..that is a caution. I avoid those people if I can. I just want to add info to help others. I try and stay away from the self appointed gardeners. You just keep on adding what you can, because we hope that it will be a help for others seeking their families. That makes it all worth it.
|Susan Barwick||Leaving flowers with a Bio|
Hi Glen, It is fine to leave info with the flowers you post. Problem is that if others start adding flowers then yours will roll off the screen and not be available for viewing. When someone leaves flowers and notes it is their personal business. No one can make you delete what you have entered unless it is crazy and offensive. The person who told you so has a few things in some of their listings that could be reported. If a manager of a memorial tells you to remove Flowers and notes you have left you do not have to. This is per Find A Grave administrators and I saw the post in the discussion boards. Keep up the good work!

Find A Grave Memorial# 13612403
What is the correct spelling of the name and dates? Let me see if I can get them changed. Betty has no burial site for her memorial. Do you know where Jewel is buried?
Yes, I know Betty is a fallen grave. I was leaving the information for your further endeavors.
Thanks for all you have done for Find A Grave.
|Linda Davis||obit left with flower|
Saw that you left an obit with a flower on the memorial of Jewell Kelly. According to the guidelines, bio information isn't to be left with flowers and will be deleted.
Next time send the information to the manager of the memorial...the member or Edit.
Yes, my husband is 1st cousin 2 X removed. I have quite a bit of information on the Crawfords. My email is email@example.com. Get with me after February 10th. I have a family emergency and won't be back from Montana until then.
|Mike Ragan||Lester Walker|
I will try to get photo posted this weekend. Lester's wife Ruby is my cousin. I will add Larry Dean's stone also. Sincerely, Mike.
I visited the Jefferson-Goar cemeter and could not find the stone; however, I visited the Winterset Library and a book there said there was no stone but had the following dates for Carrie: Born 1887 and died 10-18-1880; hope this helps.
