My mom and I have been unable to take care of Find A Grave for the last 2 years. My mom had breast cancer and I lost my job. We are currently trying to get back into this, so please be patient and we will try and catch up all changes and requests as soon as possible. We're a little slow these days.
My mom and I have always loved walking through cemeteries. Since we both work full time, we only have one day a week to devote to finding graves, but we are happy to help anyone if we can.
We clean stones before we photograph them. We believe you should take the very best photo possible. We also take all other family members in a plot.
We are familiar with Tarrant County Texas cemeteries as well as Parker, Hood, Wise and Palo Pinto County Texas cemeteries. We are also the Kounty Keeper for Parker County, Texas.
If we have made a mistake or you can provide additional information, please notify us and we will gladly change it. If you are requesting a transfer we are happy to do that if they are not our own family members. Please give us the cemetery they are in because we are active in 6 counties and it is difficult to locate individuals if we do not have their location.

Hi Paula & Mom, May I have your permission to use your photos in my Ancestry Tree? I give owner/photographer credit for any photos I am allowed to use. Thanks wrmcferrin
Hi, I want to thank you for Malvin's memorial. I do so appreciate all the labor and time you have invested in this endeavor.
Malvin was my father's twin sister, and though I never knew her, she played a huge role in keeping her parents informed on me as I grew up. If she is not related to you, I would appreciate it if you would transfer her memorial to me. I would love to add it to my Roberts Family virtual Cemetery.
Her F-A-G #37573925, and my mem.# is 48661237. Thank you again for your efforts, and God bless you.

I would love to take over this cemetery. I am a direct descendant of nearly everyone in this cemetery.

I SEE HERE THAT THE GRAVE MARKER FOR ME, EDWIN DOYLE KAHLER, YOU FOUND IN THE BURKE CEMETERY IN FORT WORTH, TEXAS, HAS BEEN MISUNDERSTOOD. I AM ALIVE EVEN IF OLD. THE DATE OF OCT. 28, 1935, IS MY BIRTHDAY. THE MARKER WAS PLACED TO RESERVE THE SPACE FOR ME WHEN I DIE. THIS IS A FAMILY CEMETERY AND I SUPPOSE THE SPACES ARE NOT RESERVED FOR ANY PARTICULAR ONE AND I WANT TO BE NEXT TO MY MOTHER, FATHER, AND BROTHER. HOPEFULLY YOU CAN CORRECT THE INFORMATION I FOUND HERE.

Hi Paula, Thanks so much to you and your mother for all that you contribute on Find-a-Grave. You have photographed the entire plot of my Pendery-Carmichael Family in Greenwood Cemetery. I see the individual sites - do you have a site photo of the entire plot? That may be hard to do and show anything.
When I found my grandmother, I wrote a note - and then when I did not find it, I got carried away and there are several now. Is it possible to delete all but one?
How would I go about entering more bio information? For instance, Flora had 5 children; there is only one listed.
Thank you for your info and your reply.

May I have permission to use your grave photos in my private family tree? I am happy to give you photo credit if you'd like.
|Kim Turnpaugh Anderson||Permission to use photos|
I hope things are going better for you & your family. This may seem like an odd request, (especially since you initially took a number of photographs of our family headstones at Greenwood at my request), however in view of all the issues concerning people 'stealing' photos from Find a Grave & using them in violation of copyright laws without the permission of the photographer, I wanted to ask your permission to use the various family headstone photographs in my Ancestry tree (crediting you as the photographer, of course). Some that you have taken include: Find A Grave Memorial# 44161185 for my great grandfather, Charles Washington Miller & his wife Mary Melissa Bowman Miller; Effie Mae Miller Anthony & her husband Albert Sidney Anthony; Ethel Badger Turnpaugh & her husband Walter Scott Turnpaugh Jr.; & Harry Turnpaugh & his wife Nellie Turnpaugh. I'm sure there are others than I'm not listing, but my request is for permission to use any of the photos which you have taken, crediting you as the photographer. Many thanks & take care, Kim Turnpaugh Anderson
I'm a great, great, something grandchild of Zachary Smethers and I've been trying to find out more information to trace by ancestry. I appreciate any information you can help me with.
|Distaffs & Spears||Leatherman request|
On April 7th, 2014, I sent you two emails regarding your entries of brothers Marvin Lois & Granville W. Leatherman requesting their links to their parents.
Nine months & 18 days have passed since that email.
Your note back then said you were working on catching up on requests.
If you can not make the changes initially suggested, I request that you transfer their entries over to me so I can manage them.

I am so very sorry to hear about your mother's medical diagnoses & about your losing your job. I'll keep you both in my prayers. Take care, Kim
