Doug Hughes
Kenneth,

Thanks for pointing out that Doug's birth date was missing. I have added that he was born in Texas, and I'll ask my mother-in-law what county because I'm not sure enough to put it down.

I removed the obit from the paper that the creator of the memorial put on there. It is against Find A Grave rules, but I never got around to taking it off. I will write one that is more appropriate, and that really reflects what a great man Doug was.

The photo added by the creator was also lifted from the paper and was one that my husband had taken and it has always irritated me that it was used without permission.... but it is a great photo of Doug when he was healthy.

RE: Earl Benjamin Dewey
Hello--
I placed the photo to indicate where he is buried relative to 19th Street. This appears to be an unmarked site.

I have submitted an edit to David Sifford, creator of the memorial, suggesting he add a note to indicate it is unmarked.

Hope this helps you

RE: Jesse A Parrish
Hi Kenneth,
My grandmother lived with Alice and James Chronister, when she was little. They where her grandparents. She remembers her great grandmother, Nancy Parrish living with them, also.
She is 93 now, and has periods of confusion. I asked her about William Clark Parrish, she said she never met him, she thinks he died before she was born. She was little when Nancy Parrish lived with them, so she didn't hear anything about him.
I always wondered about him too. Nancy is in a grave, by herself, next to her daughter, Alice.
I don't believe I have the family history beyond Nancy and William. Do you ?
How are you related ?
As you can see, I am Alice's great great granddaughter.
I am sorry it took so long to get back to you. I haven't been on Find A Grave for awhile.
