I am a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, the Jamestowne Society, Descendants of the Signers of the Declaration of Independence, the National Huguenot Society, and the Colonial Dames of the 17th Century. I just love researching family histories. I taught Jr. High English in the public schools for fourteen years. I was an Elementary Counselor and a librarian for fifteen years. |
I would love your contributions to the pages I've added. I especially want pictures of the people I have listed here. I am taking pictures of all the tombstones in my area in order to preserve family histories for future generations, especially those who wish to join DAR and other societies. I want to honor these people and truly wish for them to be "Gone but Not Forgotten." I want to create a page for each person with pictures and biographical information. My DAR webpage is at www.mssdar.org/noahcole.

|Tony Davies||Thomas Kent 1612-1656|
My middle name is Kent, and he is my 7th ggf.
I am curious about where you found the information about his burial place, on his own land. Also I had 01 May 1658 as his death date.
I am trying to firm up my information about the Kent side of the family. Thanks for collaborating.
Thank you for sending the obit on my great aunt Meda Walker. Her husband was my great uncle. If I had only been aware a day or two earlier, I could have gone to whatever services they had for her.
She was a wonderful woman and lived a blessed life.

Have you been to the Stultz Cemetery? Do you have any pictures that haven't been posted?
MORE importantly, do you have contact information for the current land owners that this cemetery is resting on? If the information is confidential, I can provide you with an e-mail address.

Hello Linda, I applaud the work you do - thank you.
May I use your photograph of Alto Sullivan, the Emery Cemetery and others pictures that you have taken in the cemetery that I am related to for my ancestry tree - giving you full credit. Thank you.
Thank you for the information on the War Memorial for Arlie.

There aren't any names on the mausoleum. I'll look in the cemetery book at the Brooke County Library to see who is with him. Carla :)

I'll email you what I have.
|Pat & Mac Hancock||Re: Andrew Gladden|
Linda, thank you for sending me the message about Andrew being the first husband of Martha Weir. I knew this but failed to add it to her memorial! I've linked him to her so their children will be linked as well. Do you happen to have any portraits of this family? Thank you again for bringing this to my attention and should you find other things that need added or corrected, please don't hesitate to let me know!
|Garrett Gabel||RE: Robert Letcher Harris|
Thank you for your reply. Would it be possible to get a contact from this family asper a photo inquiry? Thanks, Garrett
|Garrett Gabel||Robert Letcher Harris|
Hello, I was curious if you would be so kind as to send me larger versions of the two photos on Robert Letcher Harris of Dent Co. Mo. Findagrave# 14789787, (Robert's picture and the family gathering.) I would credit you if I could peruse them for a future local history book. I appreciate it, Garrett Gabel email@example.com
Is the family gathering photo identified??
