Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am researching my family tree. The names I am really into are, Tauscher (Morgan/Roane County, TN and Saxony, Germany), Harrell (Sweetwater), Reynolds, Delapp, McNabb, Nelson, and Easter.

Now, some food for thought...

Next time you're feeling rather unimportant, try a little arithmetic trick based on the undebatable fact that it took two people, your parents, to get you here. Each of your parents has two parents, so in the generation just prior to that of your mother and father, there were four people whose pairing off and sharing love contributed to your existence.
You are the product of eight great-grandparents, 16 great-great-grandparents, 32 great-great-great-grandparents, etc. Keep on multiplying the number by two. If you figure an average of about 25 years between each generation, you'll discover in a scant 500 years ago, there were 1,048,576 people on this planet beginning the production of you.
--The Rev. Gene Britton in East Point, Ga., 'Southside Sun'.

Betty and Edward Hauge
Diana,
Thank you so much for the picture of the crypt stone for Elizabeth (Betty)and Ed Hauge. They were my husband's aunt and uncle. His mom was Elizabeth's sister. I can't tell you how much we appreciate the picture.

Would you mind if I added the picture to my family tree. It isn't online right now but I have been thinking about adding it to ancestry.com.

Many thanks!
Denise

Joan Wallace
Your Find A Grave Memorial #58095883 for Joan Wallace. Here again I put in a tombstone photo request and received a response from "Louise" indicating that she searched the entire cemetery and could not find the grave. She also indicated that she checked the cemetery books at the Roane County Heritage Commission and her name was not listed. I know you cite an obituary. Have you seen a tombstone for Joan Wallace and if so would you mind sharing the photo with me?

Thank You.
