Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Dustin Edward Schrull, I'm 24 years old and I live in Chattanooga, TN, I was born in Hershey, PA. My first name was named after a man who saved my grandfather who was under attack by a German in World War II, then my grandfather named my dad, Dusty, later my dad changed his name to Edward, later after that he had a son (me) and named him Dustin. My middle name is named after my grandfather and my dad. I've been enthusiastic with my family history, I've used this webite for research and I'm willing to add and find out more about my ancestors. Part of my family are all over the country, my dad's side is in Connecticut and my mom's side is in California. I'm 1/4 German, 7/32 English, 1/32 Scottish, 1/4 Norwegian, 1/8 Italian, and 1/8 Portuguese.

Rose Piwnicki
I have photos for a Rozalia Piwnicki but the birth date is 1869-1945 instead of 1884- 1945. Could this be the same person? Also i have a Theodore Piwnicki 1897-1975 and Antonina Piwnicka 1909-1946. All are buried together. Please let me know if you are interested. Thanks

I want to thank you for posting the plaque with the name of William D Clark on it. It means a lot to this part of his family.

I also want to apologize for taking so long to express my thanks.

RE: Baggett/Bagot family
I'm not that far yet. It's kind of an interesting family story, but suffice to say that Tracy's parents aren't in the mood to talk about him very much... even twelve years after his death. Thank you for transferring those records.

Thank you so much for the additions for them and also for taking & posting their tombstones. So glad to see they had stones; I will probably never get to Chatanooga to see them. So I do appreciate your time in doing this for me. Judy Garner

RE: Genealogy research
I've used www.fold3.com, www.genealogybank.com and of course, the Mormon website (which does not provide documentation but does give you references)

RE: Genealogy research
I'm sure you've seen the listing, but this is a good visual representation of the societies that are out there: http://www.hereditary.us/decorations.htm

These are the organizations that you could join on my record applications (you needing only to prove your line to George F Nichols and then piggy-backing on my documented line thereafter)

- Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts (AHAC), by right of descent
- Sons of the Revolution
- Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War (SUVCW)
- National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR)
- Society of Colonial Wars (SCW)
- General Society of the War of 1812(GSW 1812)
- Order of the Indian Wars of the United States (OIWUS)
- The Order of the Founders and Patriots of America (OFPA)
- Hereditary Order of the Descendants of Colonial Governors (HODCG)
- General Society of Mayflower Descendants
- Somerset Chapter Magna Charta Barons
- Order of the Crown of Charlemagne in the United States of America (OCC)
- Son of a Witch
- Dutch Colonial Society
- Order of First Families of Connecticut 1633-1662
- Society of the Descendants of Lady Godiva

Some of these Societies have local representation. Here are some links you might want to check out:
