Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Texas to Jack Carroll Carter, Sr. & JoDell (Pace) Carter, grew up in Kansas and now live in Arkansas. I love doing ancestry and taking photos of old headstones to help others with their ancestry searches.

My mother's parents were Pace/Watson from Texas and my father's Carter/Joyner from South Carolina.

I will honor family transfers and welcome suggestions and corrections to any of my work. I enjoy researching the history of the people I add. I would like to add parents and spouses to each one. Do not take my work as gospel. Study it out for yourself. If you believe I have made an error or if you have additional information, let me know.

RE: Michael Richey
Beckie, It was our pleasure to go get the photo. We happened to arrive while the caretaker was there and he gave us a great overview.

RE: Bennie Duff Pace
Didn't fine him in eight local cemeteries. Sorry. Not to say he isn't there, I just didn't find him.

You're welcome. Bennie was in the sun, so it came out OK. Glad to help. I'll look for his Dad.

Coggin in Maplewood Cemetery
Hi Becky, I wanted to update you on the status of your request for photos in this cemetery. I haven't claimed it because this cemetery has 8500 graves and they don't have records of the old ones. I contacted the memorial creator but they had no more info either. If you can find any information to narrow the search I would be happy to drive the 60+ miles to look.

quick photos
Hey there--I uploaded a couple more shots for you earlier. A Quick and Carter. The stones were badly worn and I had to digitally manipulate them to made out names and dates. Still searching for other ones, but at least make a breakthrough on these for you.

I started photographing McLucas and Hebron cemeteries and have already posted what I photographed. Haven't finished them yet, but hope to get back soon. Also, will go to the Quick Cemetery and finish that one. There's a lot of neat, old graves there. I don't think anyone has photographed it before.
