Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm the 3rd generation born in Wyoming on my dad's side, and button-busting proud of it! My new hobby: documenting those who came before me in this state. I've always loved roaming cemeteries, especially very old ones. I can imagine the people and their stories.

My research in the Powell, Wyoming area has become such a passion, that as soon as the entire cemetery has been added to FindAGrave, I will begin doing physical research for more details of those buried there. Then I hope to find a way to share these people in stories, at local schools and events, and perhaps a book!

I love to share information I find for existing memorials, and I try to put as much information on each memorial that I can find. It's an honor to make each memorial as personal as possible. Life is so precious, and everyone's life is a story worth telling. My biggest goal for the memorials I care for, is to link them with their parents. If I can do that, then I'm helping someone find their ancestry. :)

I give permission to anyone who wants to copy and save my pictures on Find A Grave to their own computers, and to ancestry.com and other ancestry websites, or a personal website. However, if you'd like to use one of my pictures for a published document, please ask for my permission. Thanks!

I will transfer any memorial that is not my family, Just ask and please tell me your relation. This is a wonderful website to find family and do research.

God's blessings to you,

Rose Davis Wenstrom

RE: Nellie Bennetts
Also, there were no wives in the AOH lot so she'd have been buried elsewhere anyway. And she passed after he did. So it's all still up for grabs. If you can find anything let me know. Thanks!!

RE: Nellie Bennetts
Rose, they are not buried together. Patrick is buried in a special lot for members of the Ancient Order of Hibernians. (Irish membership) Nellie is buried elsewhere. So,I just thought I'd ask. I couldn't find a connection either but Catholic or not, divorces happened. I'll still see if I can get a gravestone photo IF she has one. He doesn't. Thanks for your note.

Nellie Bennetts
Rose, thanks for the edit updates on this grave. I will see if there is a headstone to photograph as soon as I can. I'm not sure if Nellie and Patrick Bennetts, who is buried in the AOH Lot at St. Patrick's, are related or married. Do you know? Are you researching this surname? Thanks again. Pat

Thanks for posting it. She is my 1st cousin once removed. I did not know her but had visits from her father. He was a very nice man.

Loyd and Edythe Sowards
Thank you for documenting my grandparents, Loyd and Edythe (Moore) Sowards and aunt, Edith Elizabeth Sowards Johnson. I am impressed with your taking this on. Loyd and Edythe had a son, as well - Charles Loyd Sowards. He's my father. He was born in Eagle's Nest (former stagecoach stop about 6 miles from Powell on the way to Cody)on 5/26/1926 and died in Pierre, SD, on 11/18/96.

I'd love to buy a copy of your impending book.
