I am a family historian and genealogist for my families which consist of African-American, Colored, and Mullatos of the Smith, Watson, Tibbs, Cooper, Blanton, White, Jones, and a host of others. I am more than willing to share information and willing to take correction when possible. As a teacher of science in high school, I find it fascinating that young people don't understand where they have come from. I hope that my time here will help honor those who have gone before and to help others in their search for some answers.I will be happy to transfer memorials, with the exception of those that are for my family members or any that hold deep personal interest for me. Just drop me a note.
Sheridan Smith...I would ask that you transfer Find A Grave Tuskegee Airmen Memorial# 51411008 - Dr. J. Albert Carey IV to me. I am an old Army Brat and I am a nephew of 1LT Thomas G. Patton - 99th Fighter Squadron (Tuskegee Airmen). I am not related to Mr. Searcy.
RE: Mollie Widner Grasso at Mount Mercy Sheridan, Hi, I added my Great Aunt Mollie Widner Grasso to the Mount Mercy Cemetery. I noticed that you managed two other Grasso graves at the cemetery so I wondered if you might know her site/plot. Also I wonder if her fourth husband, Philip Rogers Grasso is buried with her? Thanks so much. MadonnaJWise@gmail.com

By the way, I have many, many Smiths in my family tree.
Concerning ; Leroy and Ella jean Morgan memorial To: Sheridan Smith; I am writing you concerning the memorial pages you put up for Leroy and Ella jean Morgan .I knew them personally. Both were 'Faithful ' members of st paul church, owners of a day care center, and wonderful parents to a beautiful daughter, and a 'troubled'tormented son. In the year of 1975 is a year very painful at that time. when the church learned of the sad news Mr. and mrs. Morgan was killed in the home on roosevelt place, ( by there son).
Oda Jenkins I located a death certificate for Mary Jenkins died 1948 and is buried in Fern Oak Cemetery. I would like to share this information with you. Is she any relation to Oda Jenkins? I noticed Oda Jenkins in the Census in Indiana and it seems she was from Mississippi.
