Marriage of Lula and Ancell Scott
Lula Alice Stevens and Ancell Scott were married in Fort Smith, Arkansas on Aug. 25, 1915. [The Stevens family moved from Montgomery County to Sebastian County sometime between the 1910 and the 1920 censuses.] Lula died in childbirth with her first child to Ancell. I have been told by a granddaughter of Ancell's that his second wife selected the site for his grave in the Mt. Ida Cemetery as far as possible from Lula's.

Alta Jackson
This Find A Grave Memorial shows Alta as being the daughter of William and Mary Jackson, but are we sure that William Henry Jackson and Mary Frances Goodner Jackson are the right parents? Between the common names, William & Mary Jackson, and they fact that they have another child born 21 days later, I am doubtful of the accuracy of this. Do you know if there is anything besides the Find A Grave site that backs up that these indeed are her parents? Or that says that she and John Walker are twins, Alta being born three weeks earlier? Census and other records seem to support his parentage, but I cannot find anything to support them being Alta's parents as well, other than memorial on Find-A-Grave. Thank you for any light you may be able to shed on this.
