I am retired so I have time to walk through the cemeteries and take pictures. In mid July 2010 I started a project to record as many memorials for the cemeteries in my county (Broome, NY) with pictures that I could. This project is drawing to a close. I have completed all the cemeteries that I am working on. There are still 4 other cemeteries being worked on by others. I have moved on to cemeteries in Susquehanna PA and Tioga NY.
The following link will show all the cemeteries in the surrounding counties photographed (by me and others!) and added to Find A Grave:
Broome County NY Cemeteries
Tioga County NY Cemeteries

If I have added memorials for any of your relatives, please thank me by visiting a nearby cemetery and add the gravestones there for others to find their relatives.
You have my permission to use any picture taken by me for private uses. For public use, you may use them as long as I am given credit. For commercial use, please contact me.
If any of the memorials I have created need updates, please contact me using the edit tab. If any are a relative of yours and you want to manage them, let me know and I will transfer them. Please use the edit tab and SAC to ask for a transfer or update.

thanks so much for the picture of Orsau and Julia's marker. Interesting that is wasn't put up until 1976. I guess there is someone else out there like me that wants to make sure that all family has a marker! I'll never get to New York,, so your efforts are so appreciated.

Added the Stone and Buckbee photo to the memorial for William P. Stone as well. Find A Grave Memorial# 112391121
I have added a photo to your memorial for Ezra Buckbee Find A Grave Memorial# 112390761. You may want to reorganize the photo order.
Ezra is no relative to me (that I know of). Though his store was apparently frequented by some of my family.
Paul, you know how, on a lot of the memorials, there is a line that shows an asterisk and the words, "calculated relationship," of course meaning that if there was an asterisk next to the name, the relationship was "calculated." At the time I sent the message yesterday, the name had TWO asterisks next to it and there was an additional line (below the "calculated relationship" line) that showed two asterisks and the wording "half-sibling," indicating that if there were two asterisks, the calculated relationship was that of "half" sibling). It is no longer there now, so no big deal. Thanks for the reply.

Corporal Ronald Pickthall is my great uncle on my mother's side, her father's brother. Of the four that went to war, he was the one that didn't come home. Seeing his name makes WW1 more of a reality. Thank you for having this site
