I've been researching both my husband's and my families since 1996. As a result I've been in many cemeteries in York County, PA (Wallace, Hibner families), Central Counties of PA (Steele, Barr, Magill, Snook, Goss) and Schoharie County, NY (Palmer, Moot, Terpenning, Fox families)and other misc. places.|
I've always been fascinated by cemeteries and find it a fun and rewarding method of research. I can't wait until I'm old enough to retire (librarian in Tampa, FL) and have more time to travel and research more family cemeteries.
Most of the people I listed that are buried in PA or NY are related to either me or my husband. A few are not but happened to be in the same cemetery. If the cemetery was small I would record everyone - as further research might prove that they also were related. Anyhow, I welcome corrections and additional information and am willing to share my own research including sources. As a librarian, sources are important.
As a member of the Florida Genealogical Society (FGS), I input some records for Woodlawn Cemetery from the book "Hillsborough County, Florida Cemeteries 1840-1985, Volume 8" compiled by FGS in 1990. The information is supplemented by a Tampa city government website: http://www.tampagov.net/dept_parks_and_recreation/information_resources/cemeteries/ and personal visits.

Thanks for the correction. He is not a relative of mine. I do have a lot of family buried at Woodlawn and whenever I go to the cemetery, I end up walking different sections and taking pictures to add to Find A Grave. I noticed when I added his marker, that the date was different.

His marker indicates he died January 1, 1891 instead of what is listed on the memorial. Please make the correction on his memorial page.
D.McLlvaine Find A Grave number 25988637.
Thanks for your help.

The Parents, Bryan and Catharine/Mary, have been added to Philip and Timothy. I also added their wives and Timothy & Mary's daughters

Thank you so much. The sad part is that my
Mother did not know that her father lived this close to us. Had she had known, I know that she would have had him transferred to Jacksonville and buried here instead of Potter's Field.
I do appreciate you transferring Alexander to me.
Many thanks for your kind work.

Hi Ann, Please transfer Julio Macias to me. My attempt to use the SAC feature was unsuccessful. Julio Macias 25370464 Thank you!

I'm glad they are with family now. I still need to get back into The Salem Baptist Cemetery and finish it, hopefully soon.

Both John & Elizabeth are out of findagrave guidelines for transfer.
But, if you have any extra family info I can add it into the bio section along with your name.
You can link Carrie Jeanette Magill Martz to them too through her memorial.
Do you know where Samuel, William, David, or Joseph are?? It would be nice to link them together.
Have a great day!

Good morning Ann - Always happy to transfer loved ones to loved ones - it's a big part of what we believe Find A Grave to be all about! My best, Cor.
