I will be delighted to transfer the management of a memorial to any relation or friend of the family to enable them to make the suggested additions. |
I will be pleased to correct any error I have made in transcription, location etc., that is brought to my attention.
In compliance with the instruction shown on the Find A Grave website, I will not add obituary notices from newspapers unless the contributor states that he or she has permission from the newspaper to do so, or that he or she is the author of the obituary.
In accordance with advice from Tyler, Customer Solutions Associate, please provide documentation or source for suggestions submitted through edits. I will then gladly approve them.

I was looking for my husband's grandfather's mother on find a grave. I think that she was Martha E. Wilkerson. I noticed that you have she may be married to memorial # 30909570. That memorial belongs to my husband's great uncle. I think he was Martha's son. I think that Martha's husband was memorial # 81665031, Milton E. Wilkerson. The dates match up with this whereas they don't with "Ed" Wilkerson. According to the family tree that I found, Milton E. Wilkerson was married to a Martha Griffith Wilkerson. After she died in 1888, he remarried to Martha Susan Felder Wilkerson. I think that all of this is correct. It gets so confusing when everyone seems to have the same name! What do you think about this?

Russ, the memorial for Barry Bonner needs to be linked to James Daniel Bonner #61594910. Barry is a sibling to Mamie Bonner & William Bonner. Barry was my husband's great uncle, & he is named after him. Mamie was my husband's grandmother. Barry Bonner never married, & if I remember right his headstone is on the back of Mamie's. I have a picture of it somewhere.

It's me again, Russ. I found another relative on find a grave, & I have another question. :) Barbara Ann Stearns Donald was my great grandmother. I have a question about her maiden name. My mother had written it down as Starnes. I noticed that all of the siblings have their last name spelled Starnes, but Annie & her parents' last names are spelled Stearns. Do you have any idea which spelling is correct? A Williamson cousin says it is Stearns. I've asked my aunt, but she doesn't know. Thanks again for your help.

How do I edit the sibling info on several of my family pages?

Thank you so much, Mr. Davies!!

Hi! I would like to take over the management of Dumas Beeler please. Dumas is my great-uncle, my grandmother's, Ethel Stanphill, youngest brother. Dumas spent his last few years in the Holiday Hill Nursing Home in Coleman, Texas. I was lucky enough to meet him a couple of years before he passed. Thank you for your consideration.

Hi Russ, thank you for the edits on this gentleman, and thank you very much for all the work you do on findagrave that allows people like me to find delightful things! I may be contacting you again soon, a fellow Ancestry.com member has his name as Franklin Kistler Stamey, but I don't see any supporting documentation, so I've asked if he/she has that or if they just know the name from family discussions. God Bless!

Thanks for the quick response. No hurry on this. I think the gravestone is a large one with the parents and three of their children listed on the same stone, but can't be sure. If you could post a photo of the entire stone, that would be helpful to researchers. And if this family is connected to you, I would be happy to share what I have put together on the Wright ancestors.

I saw that you wrote a memorial for James K. Smith, son of Catherine Zachery Smith. I am looking for a James Smith from the Pickett/Overton/Fentress county areas. The James Smith I am looking for had a son with a Nancy Elizabeth Conatser but was never married to her. Do you know if this could be him?

Good Morning Russ, Sometime ago you graciously transferred management of the J.P. Cook memorial to me, his second great-granddaughter. You provided the photo of the headstone inscription on his memorial taken 11/08/2010. I was wondering if you had a photo in your archives of the entire headstone, and if so, would you consider emailing it to me? He was buried in the Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche TX. Also, do you know what the letters in the circle stand for?
Thank you also for creating the memorial for his first wife, N.C. Cook and for providing the photo of her headstone. I certainly appreciate all your hard work in preserving these memories for future generations!
