Bio Photo Hi!

A little about me...I'm a amateur photographer/genealogist/findagraver as well as an extremely proud mommy to six children (3 girls/3boys) and 16 grandchildren! :) I've been working on my own family tree since about 1994...not long after my Grama passed away...she raised me and so I do occasionally refer to her as my Mommy. Family that I am working on are Sanders, Denny/Denney, Cummins, Daglish, McCord, Heater, Galbreath and Lobb. I live with my best Ed as I call him! and our doggie, Jettie. I found Findagrave while researching our family and have been a die hard "Graver" since!

Update: Married my best friend, My Ed, Oct 3, 2014 and am now officially a "new" person lol

If someone has an issue with any memorial I am involved with please be polite and adult and send a note through the SAC feature and I'll gladly do whatever I can to make you happy! Leave me a rude hateful message and I'll first delete it and then forget about it. That way I'm returning the favor!!!!!!!

From Find A Grave's FAQ...
"The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it."

I have no problem whatsoever doing any updates or links to my memorials and definitely will transfer if I'm not related and you have a direct connection.
I love being able to link up entire families as far back or forward as possible!!! It's like a big puzzle and I also love puzzles :) It gives me a great feeling to get one done! I always try to find a little information to add to the memorials that I create so that it is more than the mere fact that someone was born and they died. Sometimes I'm unsuccessful but believe me I usually spend some time searching before I give up! Stubborness I guess lol.
If I ever add a picture to a memorial that you would rather I didn't please let me know but I prefer to hear from the "manager" of the memorial

WIlliam GIlpin
I saw your name on William Gilpin's memorial. Are you related to him? He is my 2nd great grandfather. I also saw you are researching the surname Cummins. I have a 2nd great grandmother named Julia Cummins Smith, her son David is my great grandfather. He married Matilda Gilpin. They are my great grandarents. Any relation?

Memorial 66398011 - Elijah Denney

I would like to request what was the basis for the dod (1851) and place of burial for Elijah. Elijah is my 2nd grt-grandfather and my research shows that he is still alive on the 1860 US Census in Pendleton Co., KY. By the 1870 Census his widow, Catherine Haggard, is still living in Pendleton Co. I do not believe that this Elijah is the Elijah who may be buried in Mt Pleasant Cemetery are one and the same.

Thank you for transferring my great-grandparents to me, and for the subsequent changes made to details of my extended family! I truly appreciate it!

Thank you so very much for the obituary - I looked for it about noon today and it was not available yet. The memorial is updated.

Berniece Shuck Austin
Hmm I got your declination for Berniece Shuck Austin (#117436959) and was wondering to myself... now why did they do that? And saw that everything I suggested was there so went back to my suggestion and saw that for some reason I requested that Earl be dropped from her memorial which I didn't mean to do. LOL Earl is indeed her husband. I think the problem was it wouldn't let me submit the change because it said that Earl was already her husband so I erased his number and resubmitted it. Thanks! Ken

Is your Mr "Ed" related to the late Glen Broyles that lived in Plainfield? We bought our land from him back in the 70's

William Augustus Ballard Davis # 5998531
Hi. What a beautiful job you accomplished with his memorial. Just a question - I have him as William Alexander Ballard Davis, and I have his birthdate as 8/5/1849 and I have his brother Virginius as born Dec. 17, 1851. I must be wrong on the birth dates for one of them. Can you set me straight on that. Thanks so very much.
