Hi, I'm Linda. I have been doing genealogy for many years. I am the mom of 6 girls and granma to 11- 6 girls and 5 boys, 3 great grandsons and 1 great granddaughter.
I enjoy going to cemeteries to take photos. I feel like I am able to repay some of the many RAOK that have been done for me in my quest for family info.
Besides doing genealogy my other hobbies are knitting and crochet, playing games on the computer but most of all I love spending time with my family.
I work as a teachers aide at the local high school. I love children and really enjoy being around them...some days more than others...(smile). I find it heartwarming and exciting when they learn a new concept and I feel blessed to have witnessed the event.
Mark McMullen Hi Linda, I have been doing research for many years as well (40+) and I notice that you have Mark McMullen being born in Memphis, Shelby Co. TN when all except maybe 2 were, and they were the last two. Mark and his other siblings were actually born in Spivey, Carroll Co. TN. Which the town of Spivey doesn't exist any longer. Needless to say I still put Spivey down because just like another family that I am working on their family was born in Prairie, OH. These towns are now ghost towns! Mark McMullen was married to Mary Ellen Koonce in 1879. Mark is a twin to Cullen D. McMullen as their birth and death dates go hand in hand. I believe they died just months apart, Cullen being first. And I believe they are both in the same cemetery. I also noticed your last name of Gilchrest, any relation to this family? If so please make contact with me off of here: email@example.com I have some more questions if you do not mind? Thanks, Melody
Smith Name I was looking and seen there are 3 or 4 sites that are unnamed. Are they all Smiths? Im looking for a Philip Monroe (PM) Smith. Is there any way to find out who they are? Are they possibly back in 1900's? Thank You, Sylvia Barber Rodriguez
