RE: memorial #103794100
Hi Sharon, I just wanted to touch base with you and let you know that I have not forgotten about you. I did not make it this past weekend to the New Holland Cemetery to get a new photograph of Nathan H. Jones' headstone. I do plan on going there soon and will try and get a better picture for you when I do. Chris

Hi. Yes, I will try and get a better photo for you the next time I visit the New Holland Cemetery. Will probably be next weekend. Will that be soon enough?

I only have local Tonawanda material - but a quick search on ancestry.com shows quite a bit of material on her parents and ancestors.

RE: Pvt Andrew J Phebus photo
I just noticed the message from you. I'm so sorry it's taken so long to answer.

I have the picture stored now but to give you a quick answer, it was in my Grandmother's things along with her "dream-book". Similar to what we put together today in collage of how we hope our lives turn out. He was what she thought of as her "beau". The other man is a relative and they had stayed a couple of days when they were on off duty. My Grandmother latter moved with her family to Oregon leaving her friends behind.

That's the story I was told by her, Edith McKinley Hewitt.

Patricia Hill
W Russell Stroup
if you search the name, there is 2 memorials created for this person (W. Russell Stroup & William Russell Stroup). One of them needs to be deleted, I think.

RE: Dixie Lee Culp Tucker
Hello,

I do not have any additional information about Dixie. She was a cousin but as far as I know, my family never actually knew her.

I posted the information from our family genealogy book in hopes it might give someone else a starting place to search for more information.

You might try contacting FindAgrave member, suebabe as he also asked about her. Maybe he knows more.
