Bio and Links
Bio Photo We try to photograph entire cemeteries. Often when on vacation we will photograph, therefore you may see our photos have been taken in many different areas of the the country.

Under no circumstances do we link to burial unknown, link to duplicates, or allow our photos to be added to duplicates. Any use of our photos on other memorials on Find A Grave will be reported to administration.

Transfers are generally per Find A Grave guidelines. There are always exceptions within reason. No mass transfers.

I no longer will do edits when there is no contact info. I have had too many questionable edits sent, plops in cemeteries that would encompass my memorials if I accept, and links that are assumed, but not verified.

Please use the edit function on the memorials, for links, dates etc. Edits/requests on the message board will be ignored.

We may ask for documentation, don't take it personally, but with so many sending edits we try to stay as accurate as possible.

I borrowed this from another member, and I could not have stated it better. " The first memorial created in the correct cemetery (NOT as a burial unknown memorial) is the permanent memorial. Date of creation is not considered when comparing a memorial created correctly, in a verified cemetery, and one created as "burial unknown.

**When notified FAG will always remove/merge a burial unknown moved into a cemetery where a grave has been verified. "

I love a clean edit box, I can't help my self. It is the one and only tidy part of life, my edits on F.A.G.:)

Herbert Sellers & Amelia Sedonka
Scout,
Thanks for resolving the problem with the transfer of my uncle and aunt's memorial to me. If you ever need help with a headstone picture in the Somerset, MA area (02726) I'll see what I can do.

RE: Herbert F Sellers & Amelia (Sedonka) Sellers Transfer Request
Scout,

There does not appear to be a "Transfer Request" or a "Transfer Management" link on either Uncle Herby or Aunt Amelia's Memorial pages that you have established. I have been to their memorial pages a number of times. If I go to other memorial pages created by others, the same result exists. There is no Transfer Request or Transfer Management link that I can see there either.

I have added and manage a few memorials myself. If I go to those memorial pages that I have personally added (Memorials Added" or to those that I personally manage "Memorials Managed" there is a "Transfer Management" link in the upper right for my use to initiate transfer actions to another member.

I have verified the same situation exists when Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or the Google browsers are used. Perhaps the software associated with the website has been changed or I have missed something and do not find any link I can use to initiate steps for the tranfers myself. Either way, can you help me with these transfers?

Herbert Sellers Memorial # is: 98144266
Amelia Sedonka Memorial # is: 98144258

Thanks again for all your significant contributions to establishing memorial pages.

Herbert F Sellers & Amelia (Sedonka) Sellers Transfer Request
Scout,
Herbert F Sellers was my maternal Uncle. Recently, I received a suitcase full of photos, US Army memorabilia (medals, dog tags, a typed up list of dates and places his unit "visited" while he was in Europe during World War II etc.) all from Aunt Amelia's sister. I also have numerous other photos and movies/videos taken of Uncle Herby/Aunt Amelia during christenings, family cookouts, and the many, many Christmas holiday gatherings when the family got together.

I would very much appreciate it if you would transfer Uncle Herby's memorial and Aunt Amelia's memorial over to me.

Thanks for all the work you continue to do in gathering gravesite information and establishing memorials for everyone that has passed.

Charles Cherry
You recently fulfilled some photo requests on the Cherry family memorials in the Woodlawn Cemetery. I noticed you claimed the request for Charles but maybe couldn't find it and I'm thinking that maybe he doesn't have a marker but the Woodlawn Cemetery does show that he is buried there and at this location: Section A, Lot 129.3. His wife Welthy Cherry is at location Section A, Lot 129. He must be very close to her if he is in the same lot. If your still in that area taking pictures is there any way to tell if there is a grave next to Welthy that might not be marked? If there is no marker I would still very much welcome a photo of that plot of ground where the grave is marked as being. Thanks for adding to these online memorials.

RE: Obits/Death Cert
Thanks for your note. I can appreciate that the folks who maintain the memorials would like to keep the space open for photos, obits, family stories, etc. I had stopped posting death certificates previously, but recently you asked me to document sources and that seemed a good way to meet your request without writing you a message with each edit request. My question is then how can I document my source for information when I am requesting edits?

RE: Coney Graves in Michigan
Thanks again! I always ask now for permission after reading nightmares from people who do not ask and were called on it. I let anyone access and use what I have done (not much so far; 1 year to retire and then adopting some local cemeteries!)

#107279921 - Ettie Bassett Killian
I made an edit today for the parents of Ettie (Bassett) Killian. Per her death certificate and the Bassett Family Association info her parents are Elisha Bourne Bassett and Anna (Lawrence) Bassett who are both also buried in Oakwood. I did not see a place to note the information source on the edit form. Thanks.

pascoag cemetary
Hi
I am from California, and spent today looking in the Pascoag cemetary for my relative; margaret braley rankin. I could not find her despite the fact that I looked where it said she would be: at section B, lot 0071, map 00051. This was said to be 15 feet in from telephone pole 264.
Can anyone in the local area help?
Thanks so very much.
