Hello, glad you visited! My name is Juanita, my husband is Terry, and our daughter is Savannah. We have lived in Wayne County, Michigan all of our lives. |
I'm glad to have found this site with its volunteer opportunities. I know how much it meant to me when, researching my maternal great grandparents, I stumbled upon this site and found someone had posted a picture of my great grandparents' headstone. I hope to be able to do the same for others.
The surnames in our family tree are NANKO/WADDELL/MAXWELL/GARLAND.
May you have a beautiful day, and find what you are looking for in your search!

We noticed from a message listed on another Find A Grave page that you mentioned you would like a photo of the above's headstone.
Just to advise we have today added a photo to W Waddell's page on Find A Grave
Izzy and Tim
You may want to remove the request for photo for the bio info tells us there is no marker.

Thank you for going to the trouble. Very interesting puzzles. I wish I knew more about the original "Imported from: US Veteran's Affairs." I suspect this is not my Frank M Harris - but it might be, and I like puzzles anyway . . .
You are so Welcome. I enjoy "Hunting" for the photos.

You are quite welcome.
Thank you for getting this headstone picture , But iam wondering if you could tell me the names of the others buried near Charles. I am hopping on of them is his wife Alvina. Please let me know so I can put in request for her if she is there. Thank you again

Just some information that may help- you may be hard pressed finding someone to fulfill any requests at Forest Lawn due to the size of this cemetery without a section/lot number. If you call their office at 814-536-0558, obtain the information and add it to your memorial/request, you may have a better chance of having it be fulfilled.

I tried looking for the grave of W Waddell yesterday 11th October. However, I couldn't find it. Most of the headstones in that area of the cemetery are missing or toppled.
Nevertheless, this grave is maintained by the CWGC, and it would be unusual if it was "lost".
There is an area in this part of the cemetery, which is overgrown with vegetation. The grave could be in that area. It will be difficult to gain access, but I'm willing to try again. Bear with me.
